Annie and Kale are here to build conversations as colourfully as they build with LEGO. In each episode, they explore parenting in all its messy, hilarious glory, swap stories from their adventures in the LEGO world, and share real, relatable insights on living life through a neurodiverse lens.
Part heartfelt chat, comedy, and deep-dive into the quirks that make us who we are. For parents, LEGO fans, neurodiverse peeps, and those who just love listening to two friends with great banter and big ideas, you’ll feel right at home.
LEGO University: The Greatest LEGO Show Never Made 🎓
What if becoming a LEGO Master meant actually going to university?
In this episode, Annie digs up LEGO University, the gloriously ambitious reality TV concept she created back in 2019. The idea? Amateur builders enrol in the world's most ridiculous LEGO degree, tackling classes in Art, Robotics, Geography, Mathematics, Literature, Psychology, Engineering, Physics and even Languages Other Than Grown Up.
There are lessons, assignments, report cards, spectacular challenges, LEGO mortarboards and, naturally, graduation.
Annie and Kale revisit the original pitch, decide which subjects they'd pass (and spectacularly fail), and ask a surprisingly interesting question: what if a LEGO competition wasn't about finding the best builder, but watching people learn to become better builders?
Welcome to LEGO University. Applications are open. Accreditation is questionable.

Annie and Kale - Ep 14. The LEGO Store Survival Guide
Taking a LEGO loving kid to a LEGO store should be pure joy… right? Well, add crowds, bright lights, hundreds of choices, sensory overload and the small matter of eventually having to leave, and things can get complicated.
In this episode, Annie and Kale explore Melbourne’s different LEGO shopping experiences from big shiny LEGO stores and LEGOLAND to independent brick shops and everyday retailers and share practical strategies for making them work for neurodivergent kids.
We talk sensory overwhelm, hyperfocus, setting expectations, spending limits, headphones, exit plans and why loving LEGO doesn’t necessarily mean loving the LEGO Store.
A practical, funny survival guide for LEGO families because sometimes the LEGO is regulating, but the LEGO shop definitely isn’t.
