Unstoppable: From Enemy to Evangelist | 10.11.2026
October 11, 2026. What happens when God changes someone, but the people they’ve hurt aren’t ready to trust them yet? Saul went from hunting Christians to preaching Jesus, but a changed life didn’t make the road easy.
Pastor Joe Lewis looks at Acts 9 and the signs of real change: Saul’s message shifts, opposition rises, and the believers in Jerusalem hesitate to welcome him. Barnabas steps in as a bridge, reminding us that grace can forgive right away while rebuilding trust takes time. And through it all, the church keeps growing because Jesus is the one building it.
Is there a relationship where you need to give trust time to grow again?
How can your words and actions point someone to Jesus this week?

Unstoppable: Turned Around | 10.4.2026
October 4, 2026. What if the person you’ve written off is someone Jesus is still changing? In Acts 9, Ananias has every reason to fear Saul, the persecutor of Christians. But Jesus sees more than Saul’s past, and asks Ananias to go.
As Ananias obeys, fear gives way to faith, and two men who should have been enemies become brothers. Their story reminds us that grace doesn’t erase the past or ask us to abandon wise boundaries. It does mean we can’t decide what Jesus is able to do in someone’s life.
Jesus doesn’t just improve our lives; he claims them and gives them a new direction. And when we’re sent to someone, we can trust that God may already be at work on both sides of the encounter.
Who have you decided can’t change?
Is there someone God is asking you to reach out to, even though you feel afraid?
Join us in person next Sunday as we continue through Acts.

Christians Walk in Wisdom | 9.27.2026
September 27, 2026. How do you stay faithful when your workplace, family, or social circle pulls you toward conversations and choices that don't honor God? Ephesians 5:15-21 gives us a clear answer: Christians don't have to retreat from an evil environment, but we're called to walk through it with wisdom.
Pastor Yemi Lewis reminds us that biblical wisdom is more than information or good advice. It begins with understanding the Lord's will through Scripture, prayer, and obedience. He also explains the difference between being indwelt by the Holy Spirit and being filled by the Holy Spirit, offering a memorable picture of the Spirit having full access to every room of our lives.
You'll hear a personal warning about the destructive path from casual drinking to addiction, along with a practical look at what Spirit-filled living produces: encouraging fellowship, heartfelt worship, gratitude, and humble submission to one another. At the heart of it all is a challenge to protect our identity in Christ and refuse to let the world define who we are.Reflect this week:
Am I seeking to understand God's will, or mainly trying to get my own way?
What part of my life have I kept closed off from the Holy Spirit?
Listen, pray, and consider the next step God may be calling you to take. Visit our church website for more information, or join us in person next Sunday at Annistown Road Church.
