The Murder of Blair Adams
<p>Originally from Canada, Robert Dennis “Blair” Adams eventually found his way to a hotel in Knoxville, Tennessee. Unfortunately, this would be the last place he was seen alive. From a cancelled flight to fear of coworkers in Germany, nothing but odd circumstances surround the death of this 31-year-old man, leaving investigators baffled. While the research in this episode is thoughtfully and thoroughly done (and we still want to release it, especially with a guest) we recognize that the subject matter is dark and heartbreaking. Moving forward, we will be much more mindful about limiting humor in episodes that cover material of this magnitude. At times, I (Belle) use humor to mask nerves, but these stories represent real people and real lives, and I never want the weight of that loss to be diminished, for myself or for our listeners.
