Episode 18 - Coach Mike
Coach Michael Harris is a Georgia-based cannabis and hemp advocate with a longtime presence within the plant community.

Episode 17 - Mira Fannin
Mira Fannin is the designer and founder behind Sweet Skins, an independent eco-clothing company based in Eugene, Oregon. What began more than a decade ago selling clothing at Eugene’s Saturday Market has grown into a consciously produced line built around natural and lower-impact fibers, including hemp, organic cotton and wool.
In this episode, we get into Mira’s journey as a designer and why hemp earned a place in her clothing. We talk about what makes hemp unique at the fiber level, how it feels and performs as a textile, its durability over time, and what qualities like breathability and antimicrobial properties can actually mean for the person wearing it.
Mira also shares what goes into sourcing quality hemp fabrics, why sourcing matters, and how the material a designer starts with can ultimately shape the finished garment.
We get into the realities of producing clothing on a small scale, from designing pieces meant to be worn again and again to the time and intention behind more conscious manufacturing. Sweet Skins takes that approach beyond fabric, incorporating low-impact dyes and reusing or recycling materials throughout its production process.
