Praying for a Wounded World: Climate, Conflict, and Compassion | September 2026

Join Rev. Rolando Gomez Comon in a special reflection and prayer for peace as we observe the Global Rolling Prayer for Peace and prepare for the International Day of Peace. In this message, we reflect upon the challenges facing our world today, including climate-related disasters, humanitarian crises, armed conflicts, and the urgent need for greater compassion, justice, and global solidarity. Together, we remember communities affected by natural disasters, war, displacement, and suffering. We also draw inspiration from the wisdom of peace advocates such as Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., Mahatma Gandhi, and His Holiness the Dalai Lama, whose teachings continue to guide humanity toward reconciliation and hope. This reflection reminds us that peace is more than the absence of war. Peace is justice, compassion, responsibility, and respect for all life. In This Video: ✅ Climate Crisis and Human Responsibility ✅ Global Humanitarian Challenges ✅ Peace and Social Justice ✅ Teachings from Great Peace Advocates ✅ Interfaith Reflection for International Day of Peace ✅ Global Rolling Prayer for Peace ✅ Closing Prayer for Humanity and Mother Earth "True peace is not merely the absence of tension; it is the presence of justice." — Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. "If we could change ourselves, the tendencies in the world would also change." — Mahatma Gandhi "World peace must develop from inner peace." — His Holiness the Dalai Lama 🕊️ Peace among nations 🕊️ Healing for victims of disaster and conflict 🕊️ Protection of our planet 🕊️ Justice and human dignity for all 🕊️ Compassionate leadership 🕊️ Unity among diverse faith traditions May peace begin within us and radiate into our families, communities, nations, and the world.
