   Talitha Cumi | Mark 5:21-43 | Rhona M Tackie

In this week’s sermon, Talitha Cumi, Rhona Tackie takes us through Mark 5:21–43 and explores the power of Jesus to bring healing, restoration, and life where there is suffering, fear, and even death. Through the intertwined stories of the woman who suffered from bleeding for twelve years and Jairus’ twelve-year-old daughter, we see that no situation is beyond the authority of Jesus. While the crowds pressed around Him out of curiosity, the woman reached out to Him in faith. Despite years of suffering and disappointment, her encounter with Jesus brought healing, peace, and a restored identity. She was no longer defined by her condition but affirmed by Jesus as a daughter. Likewise, when Jairus’ daughter appeared to have reached the end of her life, Jesus declared, “Talitha cumi” — meaning, “Little girl, I say to you, get up!” (Mark 5:41). What seemed final to those around her was not beyond His power. These encounters remind us that Jesus is not limited by time, natural circumstances, or even death itself. He brings holiness where there is uncleanness, freedom where there is oppression, and hope where there seems to be no way forward. As followers of Christ, we are called to move beyond simply being part of the crowd and to pursue a genuine relationship with Him through intentional devotion, discipline, prayer, and encounters with His presence. If Jesus has declared us free, why should we continue to live as though we are still bound? ————————————————————————————————— Subscribe to the ARC 2.0 channel to join our live Sunday services, stream our latest messages, and revisit your favourite sermons.Hit the Notification Bell so that you never miss an upload!ARC 2.0 is crowdfunding to restore our church building. Faith Breaks Protocols | Mark 5:20-34 | James Mwesigwa

In this week’s sermon, Faith Breaks Protocols, we explore the power of faith to reach beyond what we can see and experience. Our circumstances and physical realities do not limit what God can do in our lives. We are reminded to approach the Lord’s throne with boldness, knowing that our deliverance and healing are found in Him. Faith calls us to trust God beyond what is visible and believe in what He is able to do.
