Bestand der Dinge – baunetz Campus Summer School

Der Baunetz Campus und das Fachgebiet DE/CO der TU Berlin haben ihre erste gemeinsame Sommerschule auf die Beine gestellt. Hier erzählen die Studierenden und die Organistor*innen wie es für sie war, sieben Tage lang Austausch, Workshops und Exkursionen zu erleben. Durch Berlin ging es mit Architekt*innen der Bauwende, wie LXSY oder Studio Genua, zu zukunftsfähigen Projekten im Bestand. Am Ende hatten alle eine kleine Transformation durchlebt und würden das Ganze gerne wiederholen. Geborgenheit unter Fremden

Der Klimawandel ist in den Städten bereits hautnah erlebbar. Zwischen den Häusern wird der Sommer immer heißer und Phänomene wie Starkregen und Sturm nehmen im Frühjahr und Herbst zu. Britta Jürgens und Matthew Griffin von Deadline Architekten haben die Frage mit dem hochgelobten Projekt FRIZZ23 beantwortet. Die beiden engagieren sich mit großem Einsatz für die Qualität der Stadt. Sie suchen den Kontakt zu PolitikerInnen, wenn sie Handlungsbedarf sehen. Ihr Blick hinter die politischen Kulissen ist zwar ernüchternd, aber gerade deswegen ist ihr Einsatz so wichtig und lohnenswert. Der Druck auf die Politik müsse von der Straße kommen, sagen sie.
