No obstant això, no és el mateix ser una víctima que fer-se la víctima; tampoc és igual ser culpables del mal que haver de respondre davant el mal. </p> <p>Amb aquest episodi tancam la sèrie dedicada a aquest tema. </p>

<p>El mal pot ser causat per les persones. En alguns casos, els malvats són clarament identificables, com ho era el personatge de "El silenci dels anyells", però no sempre és així. Sovint el mal més comú és un mal intens però difós, del qual és difícil identificar els culpables.</p>

<p>Al món hi ha mal i la presència del mal ens pertorba fins al punt de qüestionar si val la pena viure-hi o quin sentit té si, en el moment més inesperat, ho podem perdre tot. És evitable el mal? Té la culpa algú? Tal vegada Déu? </p> <p>En la primera part parlarem del mal natural com les desgràcies o les catàstrofes naturals i com s'ha intentat explicar el seu sentit. Vivim a pesar de tot en el millor dels mons possibles, com deia Leibniz? O el món és un lloc horrible en el que és gairebé criminal permetre el naixement de més infants?</p>
