You might say something like, A rhythm is the flow of your day, whereas a schedule is the timing of your day. A schedule has certain activities with times assigned to them. Rhythm gives structure without rigidity. When talking about daily rhythm, it's helpful to think about anchor points, those moments in our day that happen most days, the regular activities we do almost every day, like breakfast, morning lesson, outside time, lunch, quiet time, dinner, bedtime.
