Carly Ann Taylor has a voice that takes you time travelling to the Soul of the 50’s, 60’s and 70’s. And with it, she shares her journey: dysfunction to redemption, brokenness to healing, and abandonment to salvation. But how did her music eventually transition from a personal therapy to impacting thousands? What does her brutally open and vulnerable music teach her about herself? And if she could go Converse shopping with any 2 artists, who would they be? Carly's story is as unbelievable as her voice, and she's this weeks... Artist in the Spotlight!

Shaylee Simeone | UCB 1 Artist in the Spotlight
More and more, we're seeing genres of music we never thought could be “Christian,” made by Christian artists and transformed into music reaching people right where they are… Shaylee Simeone is doing exactly that with her sad-girl-indie! She's a home-schooling mum of 3, as well as a singer-songwriter in Nashville and explains how she overcame the fear of being so honest and vulnerable in her music. She also shares how, being a homeschooling mum, her music inspires and encourages her in the way she teaches her kids! Mum, artist, pioneer, Shaylee Simeone is this weeks... Artist in the Spotlight!

Natalie Lane
There are some musicians who just have an ear for music. They catch everything and can direct music easier than you and I can make toast. That’s what Natalie Layne does! Originally from Colorado Springs, now in Nashville, Natalie’s been a worship leader since the age of 12 and playing piano from the age of 3! This week, Natalie describes the 'new sound' that's in her new music, she explains why it's so important for her new EP to be ‘real music with real people in real studios’, and what's the feeling between artists, including her, when it comes to AI… Natalie is on the brink of something that is changing her music in the future, and she is this weeks...
