Escritor, recitador e professor de literatura na Universidade Federal Rural da Amazônia, Doutor em Educação, na linha de Educação, Cultura e Sociedade e Mestre em Artes pela Universidade Federal do Pará. Coordena o Projeto de Extensão “Tecituras”, integra o GELICS, Grupo de Estudo em Literatura, Cultura e Sociedade. Como escritor, recebeu em 2012 o Prêmio Dalcídio Jurandir da Fundação Cultural do Pará pelo livro “Pequenas Divagações no Tempo”. Lançou em 2019 o livro “A semântica da Tristeza”. É também membro da Academia Castanhalense de Letras. Seu último livro lançado foi o “Estardalhaço”.
