Nightmares and Nooses
Some deaths are quick. These weren’t. In Nightmares and Nooses, we descend into some of the most disturbing botched executions involving death row inmates—cases where the final moments stretched far beyond what anyone expected and left behind stories that are difficult to forget. We also look at how executions are carried out today, the methods currently used, and the grim procedures that happen behind prison walls. Then things get personal. Christina opens up about the recurring nightmares that have haunted her for years—dark dreams involving prisons, executions, and a sense of dread that follows her long after she wakes. This episode lives in the space between documented horror and the horrors our own minds create. Turn the key. And try not to dream about what’s on the other side.

Auld Reekie: The Edinburgh Episode Part 3
Edinburgh may be famous for its dead—but there was a time when even the grave couldn't guarantee you'd stay buried. In the final chapter of our Auld Reekie series, we head into the darker corners of Edinburgh's history and one of its most infamous burial grounds: Greyfriars Kirkyard. We dig into the terrifying world of the resurrection men and body snatchers, when freshly buried corpses became valuable commodities for Edinburgh's booming anatomy schools—and families went to extraordinary lengths to keep their loved ones in the ground. Then we step inside the history of the Scottish Covenanters, the brutal aftermath of the Battle of Bothwell Bridge, and the prisoners confined within what became known as the Covenanters' Prison. And buried disturbingly close by is Sir George "Bluidy" Mackenzie. We'll separate the history from the legend surrounding Bloody Mackenzie, explore his infamous mausoleum, and dive into the modern reports of the Mackenzie Poltergeist—including visitors who claim to have been scratched, bruised, touched, sickened, and even knocked unconscious inside Greyfriars. But not every legend buried within Greyfriars is terrifying. We'll also tell the story of Greyfriars Bobby, the little dog whose devotion to his owner made him one of Edinburgh's most beloved legends. Grave robbers. Religious rebellion. Imprisonment. Torture. Mausoleums. Poltergeists. And one incredibly loyal little dog. For our final night in Auld Reekie, we're heading into the kirkyard. And this time, the dead aren't the only thing we need to worry about.

Not My Voice
What happens when a voice emerges that doesn't seem to belong to the person speaking? In this episode of As the Skeleton Key Turns, we dive into the unsettling world of possession, exorcisms, spirit influence, and the many ways cultures interpret encounters with the unseen. We begin with the chilling case of Anna Ecklund, one of the most famous and extensively documented exorcism cases in American history. Reports of strange voices, violent reactions to sacred objects, and years of alleged spiritual torment have made her story a lasting subject of fascination and debate. From there, we explore the case of Ronald Doe, the anonymous boy whose alleged possession inspired The Exorcist, forever changing the way popular culture views possession and exorcism. But not all forms of possession are considered dark or malevolent. We also examine Haitian spiritual traditions, where spirit possession can be a sacred experience that allows practitioners to connect with powerful spiritual forces. Finally, we discuss spirit guides, spiritual attachments, and the possibility that not every unseen presence has harmful intentions. Are these experiences evidence of demonic entities, misunderstood spiritual phenomena, or manifestations of the human mind? Join us as we explore the stories, beliefs, and mysteries that continue to challenge our understanding of reality. If the voice isn't yours... who is speaking?

The Drifter and The Devourer
Two shadows move through America’s underbelly—one wandering, one consuming. In this episode of As the Skeleton Key Turns, we trace the haunted trajectories of Aileen Wuornos and Jeffrey Dahmer, not as tabloid monsters, but as symbols of the fractures that run beneath the surface. A drifter forged by desperation. A devourer hidden behind a quiet door. Their stories never touched, yet the echoes between them reveal something colder: the places where society looks away, and what grows in the dark when it does. This is a descent into trauma, power, and the unseen machinery that shapes both predator and prey.

Tin Foil Tales
Christina and Gray pull the curtain back on unsettling questions that refuse to stay buried. They revisit the events of 9/11 through the lens of lingering doubts and unanswered details, then slip into the glitchy unease of the Mandela Effect—those memories that feel too vivid to be wrong… and too wrong to be real. From there, the episode drifts toward CERN, strange physics theories, and the unnerving possibility that reality has more than one track. Coincidence, misremembering, or something brushing against the edges of our universe? Tune in and decide what you can—and can’t—explain.

Hellfire and High Places
In episode 5 of As the Skeleton Key Turns, Gray and Christina go where history stops explaining itself. It begins underground. Beneath England, they descend into the Hellfire Caves—tight, winding tunnels carved for secrecy. Torchlight once guided the powerful through these corridors, where rules were suspended and rituals replaced reason. The stone bends the sound. The darkness presses in. And the silence feels intentional… as if it’s waiting. In Ireland, the Hellfire Club becomes harder to trace. Records vanish. Locals learned long ago not to ask questions. What’s left behind isn’t proof, but a pattern—one that suggests these groups didn’t disappear. They refined themselves. They learned how to exist unseen. Then the trail goes cold—and crosses the sea. Deep among California’s redwoods lies Bohemian Grove. Officially, a private retreat. Unofficially, a place where power gathers without witnesses. Cameras are forbidden. Security watches from the shadows. Beneath towering trees, ceremonies unfold; dismissed as symbolism, protected as if they mattered far more. Secrecy isn’t about hiding the past. It’s about controlling the present. And someone is always watching.

What was meant to heal instead became a nightmare of whispers, isolation, and restless spirits. Join us as we step inside—where history never sleeps, and neither do the dead.

Home Sweet Cemetery
Step carefully… because in our second episode of As the Skeleton Key Turns, the shadows are deeper, and the dead are far less quiet. We descend into the unnerving stillness of Spring Hill Cemetery, where the ground feels too soft and the silence presses against your ears. And if that weren’t enough to chill your blood… We journey next to a haunted family home in the dark hills of West Virginia—a place where footsteps echo in empty rooms, doors close on their own, and the walls whisper secrets you were never meant to hear.
