A Masterclass in Coaching - 'Ask Us Anything' with Isa Buencamino-Agbayani

Our Asenso Tayo, Leaders episode hits a little different today! We have added a unique spice that we believe many can relate. We have invited an amazing Filipina, Women of the World (WOW) founder, and a global executive coach Isa Buencamino-Agbayani, who joined us for our very first ‘Ask Us Anything’ episode! From leaving the Philippines for love & adapting to life in Europe, to coaching senior executives around the world, Isa shares lessons gathered across decades of leadership & personal transformation. Along the way, we explore the uniquely Filipino concept of “malasakit”, why high-performing leaders often struggle with burnout, and how caring deeply for others does not have to come at the expense of caring for yourself. You will also get a live behind-the-scenes look & listen at how great coaches, like Isa, think. We go through the questions from our 5 ELK Tribemates’, particularly from our Client Experience Coaches, which Isa unpacks in this episode, everything from difficult conversations & feedback, to trust, resilience & boundaries. This episode is full of perspective-shifting moments, practical wisdom, & a gentle reminder that leadership isn't about having all the answers. We also would like to plug, feel free to check out and learn more about Isa's work, Women of the World (WOW), or her coaching programs. Becoming an Asian Oprah with Monica Maralit – Part 2

In our part 2 episode, Monica shares how a simple idea activated the creation of her book “Becoming SHEroes”, why women need to stop making themselves smaller, and how saying "yes" before you are fully ready can completely change your path. From mentorship & leadership to building communities and creating opportunities for others, Monica reminds us that growth rarely happens alone. We chat about the importance of taking action even when things aren’t perfect, why the best opportunities often begin with a single convo, and how surrounding yourself with the right Tribe can make any career journey less daunting. And perhaps the most powerful takeaway of all? Give yourself permission to be imperfect. As Monica puts it: "Take it easy. You don't have to be perfect." Becoming an Asian Oprah with Monica Maralit – Part 1

Monica Maralit had a goal: become the Asian Oprah and help people transform their lives. Life, however, had its own plans. From being guided by a determined mom, to finding her way into the corporate world, to becoming a leader, entrepreneur, and a massive advocate for young women, Monica's story is a reminder that purpose does not always arrive in the package we imagined. This podcast episode is about family expectations, taking chances, building communities, and discovering that sometimes the thing you wanted most is already showing up in your life just maybe in a different way. You might be someone who have wondered whether you are following your own path or someone else's, this episode is for YOU. This is only Part 1, my friends, so keep an eye out for Part 2 soon! *Want to explore Victoria Heart Strong and the incredible work being done by Monica & the team to support and empower young women?
