Ancient Practices for a Restless Generation w/ Brenna Bullock
Brenna Bullock shares her journey from a charismatic upbringing, after her mother and grandmother were escorted out of their church for being filled with the Holy Spirit, to leading worship in a Methodist church where liturgy and the sacraments gave her a new sense of grounding. She speaks to her congregation's recent denominational rebirth, the church hurt and transitions that shaped her, and how she's come to hold the holiness movement and the power of the Holy Spirit together as one well-balanced meal. This episode will encourage you to see tradition as accountability rather than legalism, to let hymns and ancient prayers anchor a chaotic generation, and to pray boldly without expecting God to simply repeat Himself.

Staying Aware of God's Presence in the Everyday w/ Kory Miller
In this episode, Kory Miller shares how he went from a farm kid raised by a single mom, with no church background, to meeting the Lord at sixteen and becoming the artist and songwriter friends now call "the presence guy." He remembers sensing God's presence long before he knew His name, the simple daily rhythms that keep him aware of God, and the health crisis that turned into a Spirit-filled doctor calling him higher. He leaves us with a simple challenge: to steward the body as a living sacrifice, to see that our physical and mental health is tied to our calling, and to let God make even the mundane feel like a game.

You Can't Crucify Yourself w/ Lyle Phillips
Lyle Phillips shares his journey from a farming town of 600 in Kentucky to rescuing children from trafficking in India, and finally to becoming what he calls the most reluctant church planter you'll ever meet, at Legacy in East Nashville. He explains why he still believes in the Western church even as culture seeps into it, how he uses tools like AI without fear, and why church hurt is so often unforgiveness toward a person rather than a problem with the church itself. Together with Jesse, Lyle explores the emerging three-stream wineskin of word and Spirit, plundering the Egyptians by staying humble enough to learn from anyone, and going to the church you're called to rather than the one you're merely comfortable in.

How God Set Me Free from Fear and Anxiety w/ Elle Limebear
In this honest conversation, Elle Limebear shares how she spent years living in fear without even realizing it, until God revealed just how much it had quietly stolen from her. She traces the long road to freedom: writing down everything fear had taken, letting worship wash over her on the days she couldn't get off the floor, and learning she needed other people to walk it with her. It's a freeing reminder to be honest about anxiety and vulnerability, and that the Spirit within us is far stronger than the spirit of fear.

God Said No to the Plan We Were Sure About w/ Garett & Kate
Garett and Kate share their journey from being the two single worship leaders at their church, to a married couple raising two girls and leading Worship Sessions together. They recount the hard "no" from the Lord that derailed the move they were sure about, the spiritual pain that birthed Worship Sessions, and learning to respond to God with adoration whether the answer is yes or no. This episode will encourage you to keep a pure heart as a platform grows, to never want to do ministry apart, and to keep contending for prophetic words, some of which Garrett has held since he was twelve and is watching come true today.

The Goodness of God Through a Lifetime of Following Jesus w/ Bill Johnson
Bill Johnson, senior leader of Bethel Church, reflects on a lifetime of following Jesus, from catching fire at nineteen to helping train twenty thousand students and shaping the worship movement that became Bethel Music. He points to the goodness of God as the cornerstone of his theology, even in the moment his family raised their hands and gave thanks as his wife of forty-nine years took her last breath, and why he'd rather have a Person than an answer. Through his story, Bill reminds us how to stay hungry for God across decades, why he studies Scripture for himself rather than to preach, and that you never fall off a cliff if you simply refuse to go near the edge.

The Hidden Season That Taught Me to Trust w/ Hannah Waters
In this episode, Hannah Waters shares her journey from a small town in England to nearly a decade at Bethel, where she's now a worship pastor and a newly signed Bethel Music artist. She gets vulnerable about not making the worship team her first year of ministry school, the hidden season that exposed how little she actually trusted God, and learning to lead from dependence rather than skill. This episode is an invitation to break the fear of man, to build worship culture on love rather than rules, and to get under the spout of God's love until you believe your way into behaving.

Everyone Else Is Taken, So Be Who God Made You w/ Israel Houghton
Israel Houghton shares his journey from an against-all-odds beginning, born to a teenage mom a stranger met on a street corner and pointed to Jesus, to leading New Breed for twenty-five years. He recalls being a black kid in a white family in a Hispanic church and how that shaped his heart for diversity, the day a pastor threw him onto the drums and later handed him the microphone, and the slow drift from "I get to lead worship" into "I got to" that he's spent years guarding against. It all comes down to a simple conviction: Sunday morning was never meant to be about the worship leader, and since everyone else is taken, the bravest thing you can do is fully be who God made you.

Write Songs That Last 100 Years w/ Brian Johnson
In this conversation, Brian Johnson reflects on twenty-five years of worship, writing, and raising up teams at Bethel Music alongside his wife Jen. He opens up about chasing "the God ideas" that surface in worship rather than forcing songs, why he stepped away from Instagram for the better part of a year, and his conviction that the songs worth writing are the eternal ones, the kind people could sing a hundred years ago or a hundred years from now. This episode will challenge you to write from overflow rather than react to culture, to tell the difference between healthy excellence and identity-crushing perfectionism, and to step into the things you're not yet good at, because that's often how God releases something in others.

Comparison Robs You of Your Own Story w/ Emmy Rose
Emmy Rose shares her journey from a hungry, curious kid in a Catholic home who couldn't quite grasp Jesus to getting saved at fifteen and becoming a worship leader and songwriter at Bethel Music. She gets candid about the tension of being seen on stage while feeling hidden, why God had to become her hiding place, and the boundary the Lord recently gave her to step back and "make space" for motherhood, writing, and simply being with Him. It's a tender encouragement that comparison quietly robs us of our own story, that a hidden season can be blessed rather than wasted, and that even our failures can become the place we run to God as Father.

You Are What You Scroll w/ Elijah Lamb
In this episode, Elijah Lamb shares how he went from starting a Bible study in his living room at fourteen to teaching full time, helping people fall in love with Christ as they fall in love with the Word. He digs into why the real work of theology is knowing God rather than collecting facts, why Scripture is a sacramental reality worth approaching with faith even on the days it bores you, and how social media quietly forms or deforms us. Through his story, Elijah reminds us that a hunger for Christ himself is the engine of the whole Christian life, and that releasing the next generation into leadership means walking with them rather than leaving them as orphans.

God Isn't Looking for Your 30 Minutes a Day w/ Kristene DiMarco
Kristene DiMarco shares her journey from leading worship as a teenager in a prayer movement to writing and leading at Bethel Music, including the hardest season of her life, when God moved from an idea she'd inherited to a friend she actually encountered. She opens up about writing songs that "co-write with heaven," finding your calling in your tears, the slow surrender of needing to be right, and a recent year of grief that taught her what it means to simply stay. Through her story, Kristene reminds us that God can smooth our hard edges the way a river smooths a stone, until He, not us, is the one people see.

The Audacity of Grace w/ Lisa Harper
In this honest conversation, Lisa Harper reflects on how years of striving, shame, and religious performance kept her from fully experiencing the love and grace of God, despite spending decades in ministry. She opens up about childhood wounds, discovering intimacy with Jesus through Scripture, and the ongoing process of learning to rest in grace rather than trying to earn it through good behavior or spiritual achievement. The episode is a powerful encouragement for believers to pursue authentic community, embrace vulnerability, and lean into God’s unconditional love with the trust of a child rather than the pressure of performance.
