Q32: I am a Woman but I love Men’s clothing. Does this make me a fake christian? An Anonymous Listener ASKs Solomon-Ray

EPISODE BIBLE REFERENCES

1. Salvation Is Personal, But It’s Not Private.

Salvation is indeed a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. You become a child of God by grace through faith, not by external appearances. However, salvation is also for public witness. We are ambassadors of Christ, and our lives—including how we speak, act, and yes, even dress—should reflect His glory.

Ephesians 2:8 (NIV) - “For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God.”

Matthew 5:14 (ESV) - “You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden.”

2. We Are Called to Honor God With Our Bodies.

Our bodies are not just biological; they are temples of the Holy Spirit, and we are commanded to glorify God with them. This includes our clothing. What we wear is part of how we present our bodies in devotion and reverence to God.

1 Corinthians 6:19–20 (NIV) - “Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your bodies.”

3. We Are Royal Priests—Our Dressing Is an Act of Consecration.

As children of God, we are not ordinary. We are part of a royal priesthood, consecrated to serve and worship God.

1 Peter 2:9 (NIV) - “But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His wonderful light.”

In the Old Testament, priests had a specific way they were to dress, not for fashion but for consecration. Their garments reflected their function, honor, and devotion.

Exodus 28:2 (NIV) - “Make sacred garments for your brother Aaron to give him dignity and honor.”

4. Doing What We Like Is Not the Same as Doing What God Desires.

Culture often teaches us to “be ourselves” and “do what we like,” but the Bible teaches us to deny ourselves and follow Jesus. The question is not, “Do I like this?” but “Does this honor God?”

Matthew 16:24 (NIV) - “Then Jesus said to his disciples, ‘Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross and follow me.’”

5. Not All Things Are Sinful—But Not All Things Are Expedient.

It’s true—wearing male-styled clothing as a woman is not automatically sin. But maturity in Christ calls us to evaluate not just what is allowed, but what is beneficial and edifying. Ask: Does my dressing build up others? Does it honor Christ? Does it reflect my royal calling?

1 Corinthians 10:23 (NIV) - “I have the right to do anything,” you say—but not everything is beneficial. “I have the right to do anything”—but not everything is constructive.”

6. We Dress From Our Identity, Not Just Personal Preference.

Dressing should not be an act of rebellion or personal indulgence, but an act of worship, rooted in dignity, modesty, honor, and spiritual purpose.

1 Corinthians 10:31 (NKJV) – “Therefore, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.”

-----

My Prayer is that you have a genuine encounter Jesus Christ and become His expression to your world.

In His Service,

Solomon-Ray NGOL'ESUEH

-------

QUICK LINKS:

Connect with Solomon-Ray here

ASK your question here

Podcast Editor: Germa Production Services

---------

GIVING:

Global - Paypal

National (Cameroon) - Mobile Money (MTN & Orange) & Card

Hosted on Acast. Q31: Is Tithing Considered An Act of Generosity? Where Should Tithes Be Paid? Epie Masango ASKs Solomon-Ray

EPISODE BIBLE REFERENCES

Part 1: Can Tithes Be a Gesture Like Giving?

1. Tithing is more than a general gesture of giving. It is a specific instruction in the Bible.

Leviticus 27:30 (KJV) - “And all the tithe of the land, whether of the seed of the land, or of the fruit of the tree, is the Lord’s: it is holy unto the Lord.”

2. Tithes are a set portion (10%)—not just any amount, unlike offerings.

Malachi 3:10 (KJV) - “Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house…”

3. Tithes are not the same as offerings or acts of charity.

Deuteronomy 12:6 (NIV) - “...bring your burnt offerings and sacrifices, your tithes and special gifts, what you have vowed to give and your freewill offerings…”

Part 2: Must Tithes Be Paid to a Particular Denomination?

1. Tithes were originally given to God through His designated servants (Levites).

Numbers 18:21 (NIV) - “I give to the Levites all the tithes in Israel as their inheritance in return for the work they do while serving at the tent of meeting.”

2. In today’s context, this aligns with the local church and ministers of the gospel.

1 Corinthians 9:13-14 (NIV) - “Don’t you know that those who serve in the temple get their food from the temple...? In the same way, the Lord has commanded that those who preach the gospel should receive their living from the gospel.”

3. There’s no biblical command to restrict tithing to a “denomination,” but there is a principle to tithe where you are spiritually fed.

Galatians 6:6 (ESV) - “Let the one who is taught the word share all good things with the one who teaches.”

-----

My Prayer is that you have a genuine encounter with The Word of GOD (Jesus Christ) to the end that you conform to His person and become His exact expression to your world to the glory of God our Father..

In His Service,

Solomon-Ray NGOL'ESUEH

-------

QUICK LINKS:

Connect with Solomon-Ray here

ASK your question here

Podcast Editor: Germa Production Services

---------

GIVING:

Global - Paypal

National (Cameroon) - Mobile Money (MTN & Orange) & Card

Hosted on Acast. Q30: Should Christians Seek Deliverance from Generational or Foundational Curses? Moses ASKs Solomon-Ray

EPISODE BIBLE REFERENCES

1. What are Generational or Foundational Curses?

Exodus 20:5 (KJV) - "For I the Lord thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me."

Lamentations 5:7 (KJV) - "Our fathers have sinned, and are not; and we have borne their iniquities."

2. If a Person is Born Again in Christ, Are They Still Affected by Generational Curses?

2 Corinthians 5:17 (NIV) - "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!"

Galatians 3:13 (NIV) - "Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us..."

Colossians 1:13-14 (NIV) - "For he has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of the Son he loves..."

3. Why Do Christians Still Seek Deliverance in Churches for Generational Curses?

Reasons:

Ignorance of the truth: Many do not fully understand what it means to be in Christ.

Unrenewed mindsets: Cultural or traditional beliefs may overshadow biblical identity.

Visible patterns: Ongoing struggles (e.g., poverty, addictions, premature death) may prompt believers to seek deliverance.

Lack of discipleship: Salvation is the starting point. Walking in freedom requires growth in the Word.

Scriptures:

Hosea 4:6 (KJV) - "My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge..."

Romans 12:2 (NIV) - "Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind..."

4. Is It Necessary or Appropriate for Born-Again Christians to Seek Deliverance for These Curses?

Deliverance is not about earning freedom but enforcing what Christ has already done.

Some Christians may need deliverance prayer to break stubborn strongholds or demonic oppression, not because Jesus’ work was incomplete, but because they have not yet fully appropriated it.

Scriptures:

John 8:36 (NIV) - "So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed."

Ephesians 6:11-12 (NIV) - "Put on the full armor of God so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes..."

--------

My Prayer is that you have a genuine encounter with The Word of GOD (Jesus Christ) to the end that you conform to His person and become His exact expression to your world to the glory of God our Father..

In His Service,

Solomon-Ray NGOL'ESUEH

-------

QUICK LINKS:

Connect with Solomon-Ray here

ASK your question here

Podcast Editor: Germa Production Services

---------

GIVING:

Global - Paypal

National (Cameroon) - Mobile Money (MTN & Orange) & Card

Hosted on Acast.
