When breaking news hits you need a team that can deliver the facts in a clear and concise manner… This is not that team… Like at all. In fact we probably wont even cover those topics because we only cover the things that are Remotely Relevant. And if we do talk about something relevant it will most likely be to poke fun at it and/or highlight its inherent ridiculousness.
Look, you don’t need another show jamming propagandistic narratives down your gullet. What you need is an escape into the mundane stories and topics that you never knew you wanted. You need a couple of drinking and smoking buddies to help you ease your way through this increasingly frightening existence. And you need takes that are so idiotic that the only thing you can do is laugh so hard at the shear lunacy of it all.
So grab your brews and/or your buds and get elevated with the Remotely Relevant crew. Your host Rick and his cohort of co-hosts - Claudette, Dan, and sometimes Matt will help you get your mind right while coving the stories that will never matter… Because why would we want to bog you down with the things that matter?
We live in a time where reality can be a hard thing to parse through. Misinformation, disinformation, deep-fakes, AI, it can all be a little jolting. The most unsettling prospect of all of this is that none of us can truly know if the reality inside our heads even matches the objective reality around us. So let's grab some beverages and have a talk about it.
