<p>Nicolas Arellano Risopatron holds a Ph.D. in Architecture from Carleton University. His research focuses on the intersections of architecture and coding through open-source software. He holds a Bachelor&#39;s in Architecture from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile (UC). He is a research team lead at the Carleton Immersive Media Studio (CIMS), where he leads the award-winning Canada’s Digital Twin project. For 5 years, he taught BIM Fundamentals at Algonquin College, and currently teaches at Carleton. Nicolas is the Director of DigitalBuilt Ontario (dbO), connecting research with real-world AECO advancement and president and co-founder of Collab Digital Twins, a non-profit organization developing a shared infrastructure for open-source digital twins. Previously,he worked at NORR Limited, automating solutions using visual programming, and at UC as an Instructor and researcher at the Timber Innovation Centre. His work recently won the 2025 buildingSMART International openBIM Award.</p><p> </p><p>Ken Percy is a PhD candidate in architecture at Carleton University and Research Team Lead for BIM and the Digital Twin at the Carleton Immersive Media Studio, where hedevelops open-source integrations of BIM, GIS, and survey data for the web browser. Over more than a decade at CIMS he has led the digital documentation of Canada&#39;s Parliament Hill and the digitally assisted fabrication of heritageelements for the new Senate, from the maple-leaf carvings on the chamber doors to the carved waving Canadian flags framing the thrones. <p>Dr. Ayman Habib is the Thomas A. Page Professor in the Lyles School of Civil and Construction Engineering at Purdue University. He serves as Co-Director of the Civil Engineering Center for Applications of UAS for a Sustainable Environment(CE-CAUSE) and is the Associate Director of both Purdue’s Joint Transportation Research Program (JTRP) and the Institute of Digital Forestry (iDiF). He earned his M.Sc. and Ph.D. in photogrammetry from The Ohio State University in 1993 and 1994, respectively. His research focuses on terrestrial and aerial mobile mapping systems that employ photogrammetric and lidar remote sensing, UAV-based3D mapping, and the fusion of multi-modal, multi-platform, and multi-temporal remote sensing data.
