IT’S TIME TO CELEBRATE LIBRA!!!!
And they have a great birthday month filled with friendship and the possible fulfillment of longheld desires! There are a ton of planets retrograding this fall, which will affect all the signs, but Susan Miller is here to tell us what to do. And what not to.
Laura and Alex start the episode with a little chat about J.P. Morgan’s interest in astrology and his enormous collection of Gutenberg Bibles. But Susan has packed a lot of information into her note to her readers this month, so the gals must move on quickly to a discussion of Susan as Good Samaritan, a health update, a few Business Woman pitches, and a touching reflection on Little Mom on the anniversary of her death.
Next is a recap of Libra’s birthday horoscope. Susan reminds her readers that Venus is in retrograde until mid-November, so Libra should expect a slow month while Venus naps. Because Venus rules services aimed toward women, October is not the ideal time to launch a campaign for a product for the female market. Sorry, Libra, you’ll have to wait to launch your lip gloss brand. In good news, a long-harbored, secret wish could come true this month. If that’s not a birthday gift, what is?!
Finally, Laura and Alex tell the listeners all about October for Scorpio and Taurus. These signs must also be mindful of Venus and Mercury retrograding, so there should be no lip gloss campaigns for anyone. Like in the past few months, Scorpio can expect excellent career news. And Susan recommends that Halloween this year is centered around family. Taurus, unfortunately, doesn’t get any Halloween advice from Susan. But she does promise golden nuggets in Taurus’s chart related to home and family.

September 2026 Horoscopes: Emerald Year Alert!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY, VIRGO!!!!
The gals are back from their brief break! They hope that everyone had an excellent end to the summer. Susan Miller thinks the start of September will be extremely quiet, so we must focus on getting things done. Because when Venus and Mercury retrograde in October, don’t even think about signing contracts and undergoing cosmetic dental procedures.
To kick off the podcast, the gals talk about what they got up to in August. While recovering from shoulder surgery, Laura had a classic Susan flood experience and the gals invented Chore Club™, which they recommend to anyone who is open to the possibility that chatting with a friend greatly improves the experience of opening mail. They also dig into some of the astrology they missed last month, including two eclipses that resulted in a number of beloved elders being, as Susan would say, “eclipsed out.” Dolly, the gals will always love you!
Next up Laura and Alex chat about Susan Miller’s note to her readers, which hits a lot of Susan's usual topics, including her dynamic and puzzling process with her editor, astrology, businesswoman ventures, and her latest project: Joyce. Susan is on a mission!

Most signs do not receive this kind of early notice, so Susan must be favoring her birthday Virgos. July 2026 Horoscopes: Luckiest Day of the Year!
IT’S YOUR TIME TO SHINE, CANCER!
It’s a great time to be a Cancer, but it’s a wonderful month for everyone because Susan Miller published her horoscopes on the first day of the month! Neither extreme heat nor a broken leg could put a damper on Susan’s desire to help her readers, and Laura and Alex are as grateful as ever for her guidance.
The gals start the episode with a discussion of Susan’s note to her readers because there is a lot of ground to cover this month. In July’s note, Susan takes the opportunity to share some recent lessons she believes she has learned from the universe. These stories provide information not only about her health history and childhood education, but also about her relationship with her cousin Maria and Maria’s friend Joyce. What comes next is a tale of generosity, compassion, and FedEx. And Laura and Alex decide they should finally buy some of Susan’s merch in order to support her new charitable initiatives (aka sending iPads to her homebound friends).
Next Laura tells Taurus what’s in store for July, including a peach of a full moon and electric silvery beams from Uranus. These beams will come out of nowhere, Taurus, so be ready to act!
Lastly, Alex is thrilled to report that Scorpio will likely receive great career news this month. Not only are the planets doing stuff to make this happen, but July contains the Luckiest Day of the Year, practically guaranteeing exciting developments.
