Doesn't matter.<span class= "Apple-converted-space"> </span> Come along as we head to Walt Disney World's Magic Kingdom to ride Mad Tea Party on this episode of Attraction Checklist.</p> <p>Attraction audio recorded on May 21, 2025.</p> <p>TRANSCRIPT:</p> <p>Welcome to Attraction Checklist.</p> <p>This episode we're off to Walt Disney World's Magic Kingdom to ride Fantasyland's Mad Tea Party.</p> <p>The Walt Disney World website describes this attraction saying: Spin 'round and 'round in a giant teacup during a madcap music-filled whirlwind.</p> <p>There are no height requirements for this attraction.</p> <p>Before we spin like mad, here are five fast facts about Mad Tea Party at Magic Kingdom.</p> <p>1. Mad Tea Party opened with Magic Kingdom on October 1, 1971.</p> <p>2. Mad Tea Party at Magic Kingdom opened without a canopy over it.<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span> The current canopy was added a few years later in 1973.<span class= "Apple-converted-space"> </span> The central teapot with the dormouse was added at this time as well.</p> <p>3.<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span> In 1992, the attraction was updated with a new color scheme, new music and the decorative lanterns.<span class= "Apple-converted-space"> </span> In 2010, the canopy was repainted.</p> <p>4. Imagineer and artist, Mary Blair provided the designs for the teacups having worked on the original film Alice In Wonderland.</p> <p>5.
