Shahir worked with most of the Middle East artists such as Warda, Karem Mahmoud, Sayed Mekkawi, Ali El Haggar, El King Mounir, Angham, Omar Khairat, Amr Diab, Ragheb Alama, Nancy Ajram, Fadl Shaker, etc. When it comes to international artists, he worked with Lionel Richie, Gloria Gaynor, Bonnie Taylor, George Benson, etc. He aslo works as an adjunct professor at the American University at Cairo (AUC) at the music technology department. In this episode, we continued talking about: - What is the normal workday for a monitor engineer? - How to run the sound check? - What does the monitor engineer do during the performance? - How to keep the stage safe? - What is a dynamic mix? - Advices for beginners, intermediate and assistants.
