As parents we all want our children on the spectrum to be independent. Independence is the main goal for our children on the spectrum.
We use prompts in order to teach our children learn new skills and complete a task .
We also need to slowly work on gradually fading the prompts so our children can do the things independently and not be dependent on us .
In this episode I talk about what are prompts , why they are importing , types of prompts , prompting strategies and importance of fading the prompts .
