The episode concludes with an interactive Q&A session addressing practical concerns about prayer practices, long prayers, and spiritual gifts. Listeners are reminded that their walk with God should be guided by faith and Scripture rather than fluctuating emotions or physical feelings. How To Organize Your Prayer Life

In this practical and encouraging message, the speaker addresses one of the most common questions believers ask: how to organize and sustain a consistent prayer life. Building on the understanding that prayer is primarily intimacy and fellowship with God rather than a burdensome labor, this episode provides actionable steps to help believers overcome prayerlessness and establish spiritual stability. Listeners are guided through essential structural principles for organizing prayer, including setting a specific daily time, creating a secluded and conducive environment, and approaching prayer with a clear framework of thanksgiving, petition, and intercession. Drawing from biblical examples such as Daniel and Jesus, the message underscores the necessity of daily routine and quiet solitude in deepening one's walk with God. Finally, the episode highlights the two-way nature of prayer, reminding believers to slow down and listen to what God is saying. By keeping a prayer journal to record divine guidance and answered prayers, believers can foster discipline, discern the Holy Spirit's prompting, and cultivate a fruitful life of prayer. Key Points - Establish a definite time for daily prayer to build discipline and consistency. - Create a conducive, quiet place free from distractions to pray in secret. - Have a clear idea or framework of what to pray about, including fellowship, petitions, and intercessions. - Allow God time to speak during prayer sessions instead of doing all the talking. - Keep a prayer journal to record what God says, document prophecies, and track answered prayers. Notable Quotes - "Men always ought to pray and not to faint." (Luke 18:1) - "But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet and when thou hast shut the door, pray to thy Father which is in secret." (Matthew 6:6) - "Be anxious for nothing, but in everything through prayer and supplication, let your request be made known unto God." (Philippians 4:6) - "That's why prayer must always go hand-in-hand with listening to God."

Great and Hidden Things - The Privilege of Prayer

Welcome to the month of October! In this episode, we introduce our new theme for the month: prayer. Following our extensive study of God's love last month, we examine how understanding His love naturally draws us into deep intimacy and communication with the Father. Prayer is not a performance, a chore, or a tool for manipulation; rather, it is a privilege and a two-way conversation. Drawing from the book of Jeremiah, we explore the incredible promise that when we call on God, He answers and reveals great and hidden things that we could never know on our own. Under the New Covenant, we have been granted unhindered access to the Father. We no longer need a middleman to approach Him, and our access is secured by His love rather than our own perfection. To build a consistent habit of prayer, we are encouraged to start simple. Do not focus on scripts, performance, or strict time limits; instead, begin by talking to God daily as you would a close friend. Open up your heart, share your worries, and let the Holy Spirit guide you into a deeper fellowship with Him. Key Points - Prayer is fundamentally intimacy, fellowship, and two-way communication with the Father. - God's love is designed to draw us into a closer relationship with Him through prayer. - Under the New Covenant, every believer has direct, unhindered access to God. - Prayer is an expression of our dependence on God, acknowledging Him in all our ways. - The answers to our prayers are not based on our perfection, but on God's unconditional love. - Calling unto God opens the door for Him to reveal great and hidden things that we otherwise could never know. Notable Quotes - "Prayer is intimacy with the Father." - "Under the new covenant, we have unhindered access to the Father." - "Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and show thee great and mighty things, great and mighty things, which thou knowest." (Jeremiah 33:3) - "Lean not on your own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him and he shall direct your path." (Proverbs 3:5-6) - "Hitherto, ye have asked nothing in my name." (John 16:24)
