Weaving and Mending. The story unfolding through conversation.

In this Episode 4. Hannah and Louise are looking at some of the threads they are holding for this unfolding story of the Sacred Groves Avalon Podcast. The tentative thread offered at the beginning finds its way a little ,as they drop into questions such as how do we weave the sacred into life, into the everyday, into conversation. It deepens a little with how do we mend the tear in the mythic fabric of life? That then moves us into discussing integrative practices such as healing bloodlines through to re-wilding projects and regenerating nature. What comes is the beautiful inspiration that what we have here is potential for holding threads of renewal through this platform, for how innovative humanity could really be and are striving to be through a counter culture to AI that is desirable and abundant. Touching on the reason for story - speaking into myth..

The sun was bright and strong in the sky above Avalon, Hannah and Louise, touched on the journey to meet the ancient ceremony of the sun and Glastonbury Tor through exploring some of the myths. We spoke about the experiment of weaving the tapestry of this podcast, through the sharing of story and the mythic and poetic. How can we weave and bring cohesion to what is moving through the community and land now in a way that adds to the healing and belonging?. We touch on how in some myth the focus seems to be pointing us to right relationship to land through the masculine honouring the feminine and wild nature. References. Welcome to Avalon Sacred Groves.

Why is this podcast named “Avalon Sacred Groves” A Sacred Grove is a Grove of trees or a forested area that is considered sacred or holy, often due to religious or spiritual beliefs, and is protected by local communities. These Groves are often untouched by humans and hold deep cultural and ecological significance. ( a definition) Hannah and Louise introduce the inspiration behind this podcast series. We are immersed in the Glory of the Trees standing in the Landscape of Glastonbury Avalon on the Flower Full moon in 2025. Together we weave the legacy of belonging, the threads of the living myth of now and muse on a living oral tradition rooted in the restoration of the village. We ask the question: How are we endeavouring to return to an indigenous perception, to sustainability and the sacredness of life here in Britain?
