奉古往今来至高主宰之名 上帝规定其仆人的首要义务，是认知那位上帝天启之开端、上帝律法之源泉，祂在圣道王国及受造世界均代表上帝。 完成此义务者，皆获至善;凡未完成者，纵有种种义举，也已迷途。达此卓然崇高之地位、此超然荣耀之顶峰者，皆须谨守祂，那世界之渴望的每项法规。此孪生义务无法分割，缺一不可。那神圣灵感之源如是敕令。 In the name of Him Who is the Supreme Ruler over all that hath been and all that is to be The first duty prescribed by God for His servants is the recognition of Him Who is the Dayspring of His Revelation and the Fountain of His laws, Who representeth the Godhead in both the Kingdom of His Cause and the world of creation. Whoso achieveth this duty hath attained unto all good; and whoso is deprived thereof hath gone astray, though he be the author of every righteous deed. It behooveth everyone who reacheth this most sublime station, this summit of transcendent glory, to observe every ordinance of Him Who is the Desire of the world. These twin duties are inseparable. Neither is acceptable without the other. Thus hath it been decreed by Him Who is the Source of Divine inspiration.
