Frank erzählt, wie er zu dem Thema gekommen ist und warum er es bis heute in seine politische Arbeit einbezieht. Außerdem sprechen wir über die Rolle des Regulierers im Kryptomarkt und die Position Deutschlands innerhalb der regulatorischen Entwicklungen der letzten Jahre. Dabei gehen wir auf konkrete Regulierungen ein und sehen neben Schwächen einiger Regulierungen auch die positive Positionierung Deutschlands als regulierter Web-3-Standort. </p>

<p>In dieser Folge diskutieren wir mit Shermin Voshmgir einige Grundlagen der Blockchain-Technologie. Wir beginnen mit einer Definition des "Tokens" im Kontext der Blockchain-Technologie und untersuchen die vielfältigen Funktionen, die Tokens erfüllen können. Außerdem beschäftigen wir uns mit den Unterschieden zwischen Web3 und DeFi und diskutieren, warum Dezentralität keine binäre Eigenschaft ist. Des weiteren werfen wir einen Blick auf die historische Entwicklung verschiedener Komponenten der Technologie und untersuchen, wie Anreizstrukturen als Koordinationsinstrument in kollaborativen Netzwerken wirken.</p>

Liquity ist eines der größten CDP Stablecoin Protokolle im DeFi Ökosystem und mit einem ATH von über $4 Milliarden und mit über 40 Forks mittlerweile nicht mehr wegzudenken. Wir sprechen darüber, was einen guten Stablecoin ausmacht, wie man ein dezentrales System konstruiert, welche Anreizmechanismen greifen, weshalb minimale Governance etwas positives sein kann und warum Liquity nur auf dem Ethereum Mainnet deployed ist. Außerdem sprechen wir über die Zukunft des Protokolls und wie traditionelle Finanzinstitute mit DeFi-Protokollen interagieren können, um abschließend noch eine Prognose über die Zukunft von dezentralen Finanzanwendungen zu wagen.</p>
