About Baby Face Talk

Hi, I’m Lenny Pojarov — a singer, songwriter, and storyteller with over 16 years of performing experience, writing music, and sharing life through songs. BABY FACE TALK is my space to do what I love most: have honest, heartfelt, and sometimes hilarious conversations with fascinating people from all walks of life. On this podcast, we explore everything from music, creativity, and performance, to culture, identity, food, body, and the small and big moments that shape us. I often switch languages mid-conversation — because that’s how I live my life — and every episode is marked so you know which language is featured. Whether it’s an intimate chat with family, a creative collaborator, or someone whose story inspires, BABY FACE TALK is about connection, curiosity, and the real, unfiltered human experience. Pull up a chair, grab your drink of choice, and let’s talk. BFT is (primarily) a video podcast, so feel free to watch it on YouTube where you can also turn on automatic subtitles in the language of your choosing: https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PL0Mu_fanrqhDLoQxpHR1D_V-dyRBpmgEf&si=VzPtUSFojD6pKRYN (https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PL0Mu_fanrqhDLoQxpHR1D_V-dyRBpmgEf&si=VzPtUSFojD6pKRYN). NO CAPE - featuring Dad (TBT mini) 🇷🇺

A special throwback to the very first episode of BABY FACE TALK: an honest and personal father-daughter conversation about family, life, music, identity and the people who quietly inspire us. In this TBT MINI, Lenny Pojarov sits down with her dad for a warm, funny and thoughtful conversation about everyday heroes, music and the experiences that shape us. The episode also features music by Lenny, including “NO CAPE” — a song she wrote for her father as a tribute to all the quiet heroes who do extraordinary things without ever wearing a cape. BABY FACE TALK is a multilingual video podcast about music, culture, identity, family, creativity and real conversations with artists, friends, family and inspiring people from different walks of life. This special TBT MINI is a shortened re-release of Episode 1, marking a return to where BABY FACE TALK began - on the occasion of dad's birthday and No Cape release anniversary. PHOENIX (pt. 3) - feat. Pamela Falcon (🇺🇸 interview language)

In the third and final part of my conversation with Pamela Falcon, we talk about our approaches to coaching — from vocals, performance and instruments to songwriting — and about the love of helping other people grow. We also have a very personal conversation about body image. I share my experience with an eating disorder, while Pamela talks about a lifelong discomfort with her own body. We reflect on how strange it is that women's bodies have been, and continue to be, treated as subjects of public discussion, judgement and scrutiny. That naturally leads us to one particularly familiar subject: breasts. Why do some of us wish they were bigger, while others desperately want them smaller? And why are women's bodies so often treated as something that needs to be commented on, evaluated or improved? We close our conversation with wisdom, personal reflections and some inspiring thoughts about self-acceptance, helping others and what really matters. This is Part 3 of 3 of our conversation. PHOENIX (pt. 2) - feat. Pamela Falcon (🇺🇸 interview language)

In Part 2 of my conversation with Pamela Falcon, we look back at her legendary weekly live music show in Bochum, which she hosted for almost 20 years, and share some of our experiences in television — from exciting and unforgettable moments to situations that were rather less enjoyable. We also talk about show business, the importance of surrounding yourself with the right people, and the risks that come with placing your trust in the wrong ones. Pamela opens up about a deeply personal and alarming chapter of her life, sharing how stage fright led her into heavy drug use and how she nearly lost her voice forever. An honest, emotional and at times difficult conversation about the realities behind the stage, the people around us and the strength it takes to find your way back. This is Part 2 of 3 of our conversation. Interview language: English Hosted by Lenny Pojarov. Produced by Lenny Pojarov & ASRC Entertainment. PHOENIX (pt. 1) - feat. Pamela Falcon (🇺🇸 interview language)

In the first part of my conversation with Pamela Falcon, we go back to the beginning: how Pam and I first met, the music that influenced her when she was just starting out, and what growing up in New York shaped in her as an artist and as a person. Pam and I have known each other for many years, and this conversation is very much a reflection of that history — personal, warm, funny and full of music. Pamela Falcon is an extraordinary singer, musician, vocal coach and performer, but beyond all of that, she is simply a wonderful human being whose energy and passion are impossible to miss. This is Part 1 of 3 of our conversation. Interview language: English Hosted by Lenny Pojarov. Produced by Lenny Pojarov & ASRC Entertainment. THE WAY (pt. 2) - feat. Nana K. (🇩🇪 interview language)

In the second part of my conversation with Nana K., we continue reflecting on more than two decades of friendship, music and life in the entertainment industry. This time, we talk about the realities behind our profession, the crazy things we've witnessed over the years and the experiences that rarely make it onto a stage or into the spotlight. We also discuss body image, health and the role appearance continues to play in the music business. Along the way, I share a rather unusual story about a genuine compliment that almost backfired completely — a reminder that even the kindest intentions can sometimes be misunderstood. As always when old friends get together, one topic naturally leads to another. The conversation moves effortlessly between funny stories, honest reflections and moments that invite us to look beyond the surface. I named this episode "THE WAY" after the song Nana and I recorded together many years ago — a shared track that remains a beautiful reminder of our friendship and musical journey. THE WAY (pt. 1) - feat. Nana K. (🇩🇪 interview language)

In the first part of my conversation with Nana K., we look back on more than two decades of friendship, music, and a shared journey through the entertainment industry. Nana is one of my oldest friends and closest colleagues. Over the years, we have shared countless conversations, club nights, live performances, and a lasting love for house music that has shaped both of our paths. In this episode, we talk about our beginnings in club culture, iconic and sometimes rather exotic DJ names that defined the scene, and the excitement of discovering a world that felt larger than life. We also reflect on the realities of show business, including the challenging and less visible sides of working in the music and entertainment industry. As always when old friends get together, the conversation moves naturally between memories, stories and unexpected turns — which is part of the charm. :-) I named this episode "THE WAY" after the song Nana and I recorded together many years ago — a shared track that remains an important part of our history and friendship. BABY FACE TALK is available on all major audio platforms. YouTube remains my main channel, as the podcast is filmed as a full video experience, with custom subtitles available. CROWN (pt. 2) - feat. Janique Johnson (🇩🇪 interview language)

In the second part of my conversation with Janique Johnson, a renowned TV presenter in Germany, we continue exploring personal experiences, identity and belonging — this time moving into topics such as nutrition, pregnancy, cultural perception and what it means to navigate the world as someone who is, in one way or another, perceived as “different”. Born in Washington, D.C. to an African-American father and a German mother, Janique moved to Germany at the age of five and grew up bilingually from the very beginning. In this part of the conversation, we speak about nutrition, especially during pregnancy, and about the many expectations, choices and responsibilities that come with preparing to welcome a child into the world. We also address the topic of alcohol consumption during pregnancy — a subject I personally view very critically due to the preventable harm it can cause to unborn children. Janique herself does not drink alcohol at all, which made for an honest and thoughtful exchange. Another important theme in this episode is belonging: what it means to grow up between cultures, to be seen as “from somewhere else”, and to navigate identity, visibility and otherness. As two women with migration backgrounds — and for Janique specifically as a woman of colour — this is a conversation close to both of our hearts. As it often happens when speaking to friends, the conversation occasionally drifts into unexpected directions — which, is part of the charm. :-) I named the episode "CROWN" since Janique referred to this very song of mine in another interview — one she conducted — saying how much she loves the song. It's also another beautiful way to greet her little girl, who was born healthy and happy at the beginning of April 2026. CROWN (pt. 1) - feat. Janique Johnson (🇩🇪 interview language)

In the first part of my conversation with Janique Johnson, a renowned TV presenter in Germany, we continue drifting naturally between personal stories, identity, beauty, family and laughter — exactly the way conversations tend to unfold when two people genuinely enjoy each other’s company. Born in Washington, D.C. to an African-American father and a German mother, Janique moved to Germany at the age of five and grew up bilingually from the very beginning. Her mother made a conscious effort to establish both languages early on — something that would later make arriving and growing up in Germany much easier for her. We talk about the way we first met, about style and self-expression, about curls and hair journeys, and about the joy and tenderness surrounding the upcoming birth of her daughter. (We filmed this episode end March 2026, shortly before Janique’s due date.) As it often happens when speaking to friends, the conversation occasionally wanders off into unexpected directions — which, is part of the charm. :-) I named the episode "CROWN" since Janique referred to this very song of mine in another interview - one she took - saying how much she loves the song. It's also another beautiful way to greet her (upcoming) little girl who was born at the beginning of April 2026. In this episode of Baby Face Talk, I sit down with Manuela Löffelhardt, the artistic director of Phantasialand, one of Germany’s most iconic entertainment destinations. We dive into her journey as a professional dancer, her first steps in show business, and what it really takes to thrive as a woman in the world of performance. From body image and ballet to the holistic approach to creativity, Manuela shares her insights on tolerance, respect, and beauty in everything, while I connect her story to my song “Compliment”, celebrating the power of recognition and encouragement.
