by Babylon 5 30 Years Later Podcast

SAFE FOR FIRST TIME VIEWERS.

Starting on January 19, 2024, Jon M. Wilson and W. Blaine Dowler take a look at every episode and movie of Babylon 5, released 30 years after the original airdate (with the only exceptions being The Gathering, since that aired almost a year before the next episode aired, and the final movies, which also came several years apart.)

Babylon 5 is also easily spoiled, because there is a definite plan and a lot of foreshadowing. We will spoil the episodes as we discuss them only. The playwright Chekov said something along the lines of, "if you're going to use a gun in act 3, you'd better have it sitting on the mantle in act 1". We'll point out the gun on the mantle when it shows up, but that's it; we will not reveal when and where it becomes important, and why. The final segment of each episode is a list of Chekov's guns that you'll want to stick a pin into, but that's where the discussion ends.

Hosted on Acast.
