This platform is made up of emerging presenters and producers aged 18–30, creating content from the heart of the Roundhouse to reach a wider range of audiences.
By giving young people the chance to engage with the arts through our music, media and performance projects, we inspire them to reach further, dream bigger, and achieve more.
In this special bonus episode, we take you inside the Rehearsal for Life showcase, a celebration of the Roundhouse’s drama-based outreach programme designed for young people from pupil referral units [can this be 'alternative education providers' instead? Some of our partners are PRUs, but is a slightly broader and hopefully less stigmatising term] and specialist schools. This episode explores how the project uses creativity to help students aged 11–16,[19] many of whom aren't in mainstream education, develop essential skills for the future. Featuring audio from the live Studio Theatre performance and insights from partners like Blossom House School [adding 'School' for clarity] and Royal Free Hospital Schools [school singular], you will hear directly from staff and the young people themselves as they share their journey of growth, creativity, and confidence.
