Folge 207 - Lieder und Geschichten der Shoah: Lena Lehmann
Lena Lehmann ist eine Liedermacherin aus Leipzig, die auf über 20 Jahre Bühnenerfahrung zurückblickt. Außerdem engagiert sie sich im Vorstand des Leipziger Liederszene e.V.. Lenas aktuelles Projekt „Blumen und Brot“ ist ein Konzertprogramm mit Liedern und Gedichten aus der Shoah. Die Idee zu diesem Projekt ist ihr nach einem Besuch der Gedenkstätte Auschwitz gekommen. Über ein Jahr der Planung, Recherche, des Arrangierens und der intensiven Auseinandersetzung mit der Shoah, mit jüdischer Kultur und Musik sind in dieses Konzertprogramm geflossen. Heute spreche ich mit der Musikerin Kaisa Rya aus Hamburg. Vor vier Jahren war sie schon einmal zu Gast in diesem Podcast. In der Zwischenzeit ist viel passiert. Vor allem das Musikstipendium in der Dominikanischen Republik hat viele Veränderungen mit sich gebracht. Heute produziert sie ihre eigene Musik im Bereich Deutscher Latin Pop, schreibt Artikel für ein Musikmagazin, arbeitet in der Lichtabteilung des Musicals „König der Löwen“ und angefangen, Tattoos zu stechen.
