About Bacon Feet

A Horror Movie Podcast with a Side of Sizzle and Soul Welcome to Bacon Feet, the podcast where horror films meet real-life chills—served up by a mother and her three daughters. Hosted by Britty and her daughters, Theda-Bel, Kaiya-Mae, and Addie-Lou, we bring you a mix of sharp critiques, terrifying tales, and a whole lot of humor. Whether it’s supernatural frights, psychological thrills, or good ol’ bloody gore, we’ve got your horror fix. But we don’t stop at the movies. Each episode, we also chat about the real-life horror of growing up in the modern age. From the chaos of adolescence to the existential dread that comes with it, we explore how the trials of growing up often feel like your own personal horror film. And sometimes, the monsters are inside us. Each episode, we dive into a different horror flick—whether it’s a classic, a cult gem, or a fresh scare—dissecting the thrills, the chills, and the hidden layers that make it both terrifying and relatable. And yeah, we’ll probably roast a bad movie or two (looking at you, creepy clowns). So, pull up a seat, grab your popcorn (or maybe some cold pizza, because that’s the real snack of adolescence), and join this mother-daughter squad as we explore horror films—and the horrors of growing up—one terrifying, hilarious episode at a time.

Bonus Episode: First 24 hours of the Zombie Apocalypse

Description:In this gripping episode, Britty and the girls dive into a hypothetical (and thrilling!) scenario: the first 24 hours of a zombie apocalypse. From the first signs of chaos to the life-or-death decisions that would follow, the group debates what they'd do to survive—and more importantly—whom they would prioritize. Would you save your family, who might be closer to you emotionally, or your friends, who might have skills and experiences that could help in survival? Or would you take a different route entirely and focus on yourself? The stakes are high as they explore the complexities of loyalty, self-preservation, and survival instincts in a world suddenly turned upside down. Main Discussion Topics: Initial Reaction: What do you do in the first few hours? Do you panic, or is there an instant instinct to spring into action? The group discusses what they imagine would be their first steps, from gathering supplies to deciding if they’re heading for safety or trying to figure out what's going on.
