[…] I'm somebody who's come to care deeply about humanity. And when I'm honest, I know I very rarely think 100 years beyond me. It is very evangelical, very capitalist, very American to center something extremely temporary and flimsy as important. And in this case, the very temporal and flimsy thing is conceptions of the future. I don't think our ancestors thought of us any more than we think of our descendants. And I know y'all are not thinking of your descendants. You are not envisioning them in a future much different from this present darkness. Because y'all have no urgency. If you believed in and were working towards a future that is matriarchal and black-led, or significantly different from this one in any way, there's no way you would ever consider platforming a midman of any persuasion for any reason.
