The Gen Z Dating Desert, Our New Woke Pope, & Is Barbie Land Real? | S2 E7

This week on Baddies for the People, Cheyenne shares a major life update about starting a new job, and what it means to rebuild your identity when your routine changes overnight. We also dive into the latest panic over Gen Z’s sex life. Are young people really having less sex? And if so, why? We look at the data, the headlines, and the culture, from the impact of COVID and social isolation to a growing political divide between men and women. We unpack how dating has been shaped by social media echo chambers, a rise in manosphere content, and the real consequences of ideological incompatibility. In the news: Trump appears confused about whether Barbie Land is a real country, rails against the toy manufacturer Mattel, and may have violated the Constitution by accepting a $400 million plane from Qatar. Also, is the new pope... woke? We break down Pope Leo’s surprising positions on Trump, JD Vance, and racial justice, alongside his more traditional views on LGBTQ rights. Plus, Theranos founder Elizabeth Holmes may be in prison, but her partner is pitching what looks like the same fraudulent blood-testing machine. And in Rent Free, we talk about what it means to see violence go viral, again and again, and what that’s doing to our collective sense of empathy. It’s a week of delusions, contradictions, and some hard truths about where we are and what’s ahead. Understanding Oligarchy, The Rise of Conspirituality, and Pete Buttigieg’s Podcast Win | S2 E6

This week, Cheyenne and Rachel are tackling everything from oligarchies to executive orders, and yeah, they’re not holding back. In “What Made You Cringe,” we’ve got Elissa Slotkin telling Democrats to stop using the word "oligarchy" because apparently, no one understands it (newsflash, Elissa: polling says otherwise). Meanwhile, the Trump administration just dropped an executive order targeting “disparate impact,” and let’s just say, it’s not a win for equality. In “The Vibes,” Pete Buttigieg takes the bro world by storm on the Flagrant podcast, leaving conservatives in full meltdown mode. Fox News tried to dismiss it with homophobic jabs, but we’re breaking down why Pete’s message is resonating in spaces that were supposed to be off-limits for progressives. The Deep Dive this week is all about conspirituality and the public’s spiraling distrust in science and public health, fueled by the pandemic. How did we get here, and what does it mean for the future of our collective wellbeing? Finally, Rachel’s still processing a powerful conversation she had about whether we’re running scared or running to freedom. What do you think? Get ready for another raw, unfiltered episode with the Baddies. These topics are keeping us up at night, and we’re sure they’ll stick with you too. Morgan Wallen’s Latest Collab, Trump’s Attack on the Constitution, and a Tariff Deep Dive | S2 E5

This week, Cheyenne and Rachel are bringing you a perfect blend of sharp analysis, personal stories, and the kind of candid conversation that’ll leave you thinking... Cheyenne’s living her best golf-girl life; seriously, she’s swapping UFC for Rory McIlroy (and yes, we’re playing a game: which golfer would you date?). Meanwhile, Rachel is embracing self-acceptance after a wild week of falling off curbs, crashing cars, and confronting the perfectionism that has been running her life (spoiler: ADHD is the culprit). In “What Made You Cringe,” the political chaos continues: Trump’s latest attacks on the Constitution have us shaking our heads. It’s a mess, but it’s the kind of mess we need to talk about. The Deep Dive is all about tariffs, and trust us, it’s a hot topic. From Trump’s haphazard tariff decisions to how they’re hitting you at the grocery store, we break it down and dive into the chaos that’s left businesses, consumers, and even the White House scrambling. The Vibes hit hard this week: Tate McRae and Morgan Wallen’s collab? Cheyenne’s got thoughts on the backlash, breaking down how the conversation around celebrity partnerships shifts when women speak up versus when men get a free pass. Plus, Drake is suing Kendrick Lamar over defamation… they not like us. Finally, Cheyenne’s grappling with the heartbreak of generational school shooter drills, while Rachel can’t stop thinking about the tragic case of Victor Perez, the autistic teen shot by police in Idaho. These stories are haunting, but they need to be heard. Get ready for the unfiltered, unapologetic Baddies you know and love. And remember, keep up the fight, baddies! Katy Perry’s Billionaire Space Ride, A.1. Steak Sauce vs. AI, & a Wild Baddie Q&A! | S2 E4

This week’s episode is a wild ride: from viral backlash to space drama and recession trends. Cheyenne's been dealing with a viral whirlwind, and let’s just say the internet isn't always a kind place. On the flip side, Rachel’s embracing her "recession blonde" look, inspired by the latest market trends. Will self-care survive financial hardship? We’re talking the lipstick index and why small luxuries matter - especially when they’re a mental health lifeline. In the cringe-worthy corner, we've got Linda McMahon promoting A1 steak sauce on an AI panel (yep, that happened) and Trump possibly making the biggest insider trading move in history… right before pausing tariffs. Oh, and Elon Musk’s gaming livestream? Total disaster. He died in the tutorial phase. Then, we’ve got some thoughts on Jeff Bezos’ latest space stunt with Blue Origin, sending a bunch of celebs into space while the rest of us can’t even afford eggs. Olivia Munn’s “gluttonous” critique hit hard, and we’re asking: why are the rich taking joyrides when people can’t even make ends meet? Plus, in the Deep Dive segment, it’s time for a Baddie Q&A! We picked questions out of a hat and got real about everything from burnout to embarrassing memories. Lastly, Cheyenne’s been stuck thinking about the SAVE Act, a voter suppression bill that could disenfranchise millions. It’s got her fired up, and trust that this is an issue you need to know about. Tune in for a mix of viral chaos, space drama, and self-care talk that’s way too real. The Filibuster That Broke the Internet, Tariffs Breaking the Bank, & Dark Enlightenment... | S2 EP 3

This week’s episode is giving: viral rants, fascist tech bros, and a grocery bill that feels like theft. Cheyenne’s accidental internet moment has her getting unsolicited pep talks from Katie Couric and Elizabeth Banks (yes, we’re fangirling). Meanwhile, Rachel’s freaking out over what tariffs are about to do to gluten-free food prices… because $9 pasta wasn’t bad enough. Next, we touch on how RFK Jr. insists his government sabotage was “always the plan” (okay, brainworm). And Trump’s economic strategy? Deport essential workers, crash the market, and replace adults with kids on the job. We’re officially in failed state territory. We’ve also got thoughts on Lindsay Lohan’s return, Kanye's terrifying new album drop, and the White Lotus vs. Duke University drama. But the real monster under the bed? Dark Enlightenment theory: a billionaire-backed, anti-democracy movement creeping from Silicon Valley into actual government power. From Peter Thiel’s obsession with corporate kings to Elon Musk’s crusade against the “administrative state,” we’re breaking down the blueprint they don’t want you to know about. Plus: a Congressman quoted a literal Nazi on the House floor, and a 25-hour filibuster has us asking, can political theater still do something real? We’re unhinged where it counts this week… fueled by overpriced gluten-free pasta and zero chill. Leaking War Plans in the Group Chat, Jay-Z vs Jane Doe, & Is TikTok Your Therapist Now? | S2 EP 2

Baddies, this week’s episode is giving national security threat meets mental health misinformation spiral. Let’s get into it. First up in the Tea: Cheyenne opens up about the no-sleepover rule in her own family and why this parenting debate hits differently in 2025. Meanwhile, Rachel’s talking about the psychology behind craving chaos in relationships (because yeah, we’ve all been there). Next up… Cringe. A leaked group chat between Trump cabinet members casually discussed U.S. missile strikes using emojis - yes, seriously. We break down the national security nightmare, and why “oops, I’m just stupid” isn’t a legal defense. For Vibes, we’re discussing the Jay-Z defamation lawsuit and how both sides of the Snow White box office flop are trying to twist it into a political weapon. (Spoiler: the real problem might just be bad acting and reboot fatigue.) Then, for our Deep Dive, is TikTok your new therapist? Let’s unpack the rise of “therapy speak” on social media. And finally, what’s living rent free in our minds this week? Cheyenne can’t stop thinking about the 24-year-old Georgia woman jailed for having a miscarriage… while Rachel’s spiraling (academically, don’t worry) about Dark Enlightenment theory. This one’s messy, insightful, and deeply unwell (just like your FYP). See you there! Politeness Won’t Save Us, Cringe Tinder Fits, & Trump’s Dystopian Freedom Cities

Baddies, this week we’re diving into why the obsession with “civility” in American politics is doing way more harm than good — and who’s actually benefiting from it. Cheyenne breaks down how Democrats keep trying to fight fascism with press conferences and polite tweets while the right is playing for keeps. What even is civility anyway, and why does it always seem to silence the people who are the most marginalized? Rachel walks us through the all-time low bar of her latest Tinder matches (spoiler: they’re still wearing Toms), and what that says about modern dating and gender dynamics. We also get into the Freedom Cities plan. Yes, Trump and his billionaire bros want to build tech-bro dystopias with zero regulations, where corporations run everything from the schools to the police. Plus: why the right only loves the courts when it benefits them, how fascists use “feelings over facts” to manipulate their base, and what real resistance should look like in 2025. Follow us to stay tapped in! The baddies are just getting started with season 2.

Trump's War on Words, A Deep Dive On Spicy Content, and Kanye's (Latest) Controversy | EP 7

Baddies, it’s our season finale, and we have a lot to reflect on. First, Cheyenne gets real about what it means to put yourself out there… Why do the harshest critics often come from the people closest to us? Meanwhile, Rachel opens up about losing a big case, the gut-punch reality of how often the system wins, and why the fight is still always worth it. Then, we’re cringing hard at Trump’s latest dystopian power grab. His administration is banning scientific research from using specific words… and this is so much more than just another culture war stunt. Meanwhile, Louisiana is coming for doctors – indicting a New York physician for prescribing an abortion pill to a minor. The GOP’s attack on reproductive rights is getting even more extreme, and we’re here to call it out. For our Deep Dive, we’re talking about porn and power – because, yes, porn is deeply political. From the mainstream industry’s toxic norms to the rise of feminist and queer porn, who really controls desire in America? And finally, what’s been living rent-free in our heads? Cheyenne unpacks the deeply disturbing trend of men creating AI girlfriends just to verbally abuse them. Meanwhile, Rachel is side-eyeing Kanye’s latest stunt: parading his wife naked while spiraling on social media. The real question? Where is the far right now? Thank you for an incredible Season 1 – we’ll be back, bolder than ever. Billionaires Profit from LA Fires, Selena Gomez’s Viral Tears & The US Sent WHAT to WHERE? | EP 6

Baddies, this week we’re breaking down the wildest stories shaking up politics and culture. Cheyenne is reflecting on a bizarre career parallel—turns out, in another life, she could have been Trump’s press secretary. How do young women in politics take such drastically different paths? And what happens when ambition meets the urge to sell out? Rachel read one of the worst Tinder profiles she had to swipe through this week, making us wonder whether the “male loneliness” crisis is self-inflicted. We broke down Selena Gomez’s emotional video about immigration and why she just might be right to cry about it. Meanwhile, Trump’s allies are trying to justify cutting off federal aid—including food stamps, housing assistance, and veteran support. And get this… in one of the most absurd misinformation spirals yet, Trump’s team tried to justify this move by alleging that the U.S. sent $50 million worth of condoms to Gaza—except that’s completely false. We’re unpacking how this conspiracy started, how Elon Musk got involved, and the real story behind this so-called “wasteful spending.” In their deepest dive yet, Cheyenne and Rachel expose why LA fires weren’t just a natural disaster—but a man-made crisis made worse by corporate greed taking over the fire truck industry. Skorts in the Court, TikTok’s Back (With New Problems), & Trump’s Wild New Orders | EP 5

Baddies, this week is chaotic in the best way. Rachel’s first big trial had her feeling like a total legal powerhouse—until a skort-related mishap turned the courtroom into an unexpected spectacle. Meanwhile, Cheyenne unpacks TikTok’s bizarre 12-hour ban, its even weirder comeback, and why the platform’s future is looking more complicated than ever. We’re cringing HARD at some seriously bad takes—like a major organization suddenly realizing who they endorsed (way too late) and Elon Musk’s latest moment that has the internet debating whether it was “awkward” or just plain alarming. Then, we’re breaking down Trump’s unreal executive order spree—because when you sign 50+ orders in a week, things get messy. And finally, what’s living rent-free in our heads? Cheyenne shares her thoughts on Melania’s suspiciously strategic style comeback, and Rachel is diving into one of the strangest internet rabbit holes yet. Rednote Takes Over, The Diddy Drama Unfolds, & Are We All Hermits Now? | EP 4

Baddies, we’ve got a LOT to break down this week. Cheyenne’s been reflecting on how the pandemic changed our social lives forever—why are we all still at home so much, and what that says about our crumbling community infrastructure? Meanwhile, there’s some serious hypocrisy making headlines, and the shocking reality of imprisoned teenage boys being used to fight California’s wildfires is beyond alarming. Over in the app store, TikTokers are flocking to a Chinese-owned platform, Xiaohongshu, sparking unexpected cross-cultural exchanges—but is it here to stay? And with conversations swirling around power, wealth, and influence, we’re diving into the growing concentration of control in the hands of a few. Senators tweeting at Elon Musk to get things done? It’s giving dystopian sitcom energy. They also unpack the shift from “girl boss” energy to “trad wife” vibes and dive into a story that’s raising eyebrows: why do some tragedies lead to big changes while others barely get a reaction? Hint: it all depends on whose story is being told. Plus, the random thought that’s living rent-free in their heads: how identity and labels are changing—and what it could mean for the future.
