bae.room centers around the discussion of black love, black relationships, and the black family. We will discuss what’s making us, what’s breaking us, and everything in between. Join us for a healthy, multi-faceted discussion.
In Episode 6 of the Dear Black Men series, we sit down with Raymond for a powerful and honest conversation about love, fatherhood, and healing generational wounds. 🌱
Raymond opens up about his upbringing in a broken home — growing up without a consistently present father and being raised by his single mother alongside a circle of women. He reflects on how those early experiences shaped the man he is today: how he loves, how he parents, and how he’s actively working to rewrite the narrative for himself and his family.
This episode is for anyone navigating what it means to be whole while coming from pieces. 🖤 Tap in for another honest conversation at The Bae.Room.

Dear Diary: Episode 5 ft. Lual
In this episode of Bae.Room, I sit down with Lual — a newly married Black man — for a raw and honest conversation about love, faith, and commitment. We talk about what led him to say yes to marriage, how his perception of what marriage is has evolved, and the role his faith plays in how he shows up as a husband.
This space is all about celebrating Black love, unpacking how our upbringing shapes how we love, and creating room to heal the dynamic between Black men and women. Lual brought the kind of vulnerability and insight that reminds us what’s possible when we lead with intention, care, and spiritual grounding.

Dear Diary: Episode 4 ft. Alisa Victoria
Whew—this one is personal.
In this solo episode, I’m pulling back the curtain on my co-parenting journey. From the hard convos to the small wins, the emotional toll, and even those moments on the train exchanging my son with his dad that hit deeper than I ever expected—I’m talking about it all.
It’s not always pretty. It’s not always peaceful. But it’s real.
This episode is for every parent doing their best to raise a whole child while figuring out how to still be whole themselves. For every mom who feels like she's carrying the weight. For every dad trying but not always getting it right. For anyone trying to rewrite the narrative of what the Black family can be—even after the breakup.
If you’ve ever felt alone in this, I hope this reminds you that you’re not. Tap in, share, and let’s keep the conversation going.
