Welcome back to BarTALC! In this episode we have a very interesting guest that exhibited at TAC the past two weeks. Her expo was described as: Influenced by the structure, function, and descriptive powers of Greek and Norse mythology, Mara weaves a new narrative of how the world came to be. In an effort to refrain from human-centred stories and anthropomorphism, she has brought trees and landscapes from being the scenery in the background, to the foreground and onto the main stage. Welkom bij weer een nieuw seizoen van BarTALC! Na een korte pauze zijn we terug. En ook meteen met een dikke nieuwe intro en outro tune waarvoor dank aan Koen , Vincent, Marina en Martijn! We spreken in deze aflevering met Lise Sore over onder andere haar net geopende expositie: 'Om-geven'. In expositie ‘Om-geven’ gaat Sore intensief contact aan met haar geboortegrond. Zoals ze contact maakt met zichzelf in haar zelfportretten, doet ze dat nu ook in het landschap. Het landschap van haar geboorteland Niger. Het land waaraan ze geen werkelijke herinneringen heeft, waar haar emoties des te meer geworteld liggen. Als je de expo nog wilt zien stuur dan een mailtje naar visit@tac.nu!
