One example of this that I've talked about ad nauseam is that the labs that present evidence that examine DNA that come in and give their expert testimony, they're often paid by the prosecutor's office. Not only that, sometimes the prosecutor's office actually has like a bonus level based on the conviction rate that they're able to obtain. So when you have a medical examiner, the chances that this person is kind of in the pocket of the DA or at least if not being paid by them closely associated with them is pretty high, but this medical examiner would not back down.
