After a short break since the NBA Finals, Alister and Orane jump back into their seats to talk NBA Basketball and start off with a quick acknowledgement of the defending champs New York Knicks. They impressively won the Finals against the San Antonio Spurs, which both guys thought would actually win and it was right for the guys to acknowledge "their" loss and praise the Knicks as they head into their title defense.
Next up the guys discuss the Knicks' main challenger this season with the 76ers and their latest acquisition of LeBron James, who also joins Jaylen Brown, Kentavious Caldwell-Pope and Anfernee Simons as the newest comers to the City of Brotherly Love. LeBron, the biggest get of the offseason though brings tons of expectations to the Sixers and many anticipate a championship banner to follow, sometime within this 2 year stint! Does LeBron joining the 76ers make them a Super Team and is it right to expect a championship...in year 1 or 2?
Alister then delivers a passionate tribute to his friend Cuthbert "Coladay" James who passed away at the start of the summer and promotes the foundation set up for him - cuthbertjames.org
Then the guys wrap up by discussing whether contract extensions where max players take less than max dollars to build their teams around them - similar to what Jaylen Brunson's move recently and whether Victor Wembanyama was right to do the same with the Spurs? They also question if this will be a trend to expect?
And lastly the guys discuss this incoming rookie class of players and whether they will be ready to make immediate impacts to their respective teams as the eyes of the basketball world are ready to receive them!
Programming Note: Whilst Orane's camera was perfectly fine during recording, the output from the recording has glitched where his visuals drop out in this episode. We would like to extend our apologies to our viewers for this throughout this viewing.

Predicting the 2026 NBA Finals!
In a shortened Episode 25, Alister takes a solo journey with Orane heavy into radio duty as the globe prepares for the World Cup. However, Orane did appear via pre-recorded audio message to give his take on the NBA Finals and submit his prediction for the biggest dance on the basketball stage.#
Alister also registered his prediction and both guys selected the Spurs with the likelihood to win this series; Orane suggesting a 7 Game series, where Alister believes it ends in 6. Their rationale for the discussions are explained in this brief episode, with Alister also displaying his annual prediction sheet, coming with positional match-ups, and the key factors to win the series. He’s also putting up his sterling 5-0 record for predicting the correct winner of the NBA Finals, with the hopes of going full-on Michael Jordan and getting a 6-0 record. The Knicks however are an amazingly formidable foe for the young Spurs and they can very well upset that prediction and that of many Analysts around the World.
