A vibes-based preview for the Nuggets, Suns & Jazz with the NBA season two weeks away! (with David Arroyo)
Tyler King is back with another episode of Basketball in the Mountains!
Friend of the show David Arroyo joins for the first time for a vibes-based NBA season preview less than two weeks away from the start of the 2026-27 campaign.
After taking a general look at the league, the guys dive into the Nuggets and the biggest questions facing the franchise. Is there any reason to still be worried about Nikola Jokic not re-signing next summer? Is this the last year of the Jokic-Murray-Gordon trio? Will the DeMar DeRozan signing meaningfully improve the bnech?
Then, they take a look at the Jazz, who will look to take a major step forward this season after years of rebuilding. David gives his take on why he thinks Utah is a playoff team and the reasons for optimism in Salt Lake City, led by Keyonte George and Darryn Peterson.
Finally, the guys discuss the Suns, who have killed all of the good vibes from last season in the summer, mostly due to the trade for Miles Bridges. How long will Phoenix be content with a ceiling as the No. 7 seed in the West and will Devin Booker ever request a trade? Plus, a look at some of the encouraging young depth on the roster.
