Seek and Find – Sunday Takeaway
Third Sunday in Ordinary Time | January 26, 2026
This Sunday’s readings remind us what happens when light breaks into darkness — and how we’re invited to respond when God shows up.
From Isaiah’s promise that “the people who walked in darkness have seen a great light,” to Jesus beginning His ministry in Galilee, we see a powerful theme of hope, repentance, and calling. Jesus doesn’t wait for perfect people or perfect circumstances. He enters ordinary life and calls ordinary people to follow Him.
In this episode of Seek and Find, we reflect on:
What it means to truly repent — not just feeling bad, but changing direction
How God brings light into real darkness
Why Jesus calls everyday people (like fishermen… and us) to take part in His mission
How we’re challenged to respond when the light is right in front of us
Whether you’re feeling stuck, distracted, or searching for purpose, this Sunday’s readings offer a simple but challenging invitation: turn toward the light and follow.
📖 Readings:
Isaiah 8:23—9:3
1 Corinthians 1:10–13, 17
Matthew 4:12–23

Romans 12:2 — The renewing of your mind helps you test what is truly from God.
