Discerning messages from God vs. messages from other spirits/people...
Be careful when listening to people talk about God...God gives us discernment to be able to know the difference between all messages/words that people use to help us or to trick us.

Covered by Christ...not the Law
Some of us believe that if we can just obey and quote the laws written in the bible...we can escape condemnation from God...but God already set it up for everybody to escape His condemnation...He removed us from under the law and placed us under Himself. (Christ) He fixed it to where every human being has the opportunity to escape the Judgement of God on the last day.

Obeying God for the Wrong Reasons...
Most times we attend and join a church because we are pushed into doing so...or maybe Grandma wanted her family to attend church...and because we don't want to feel as if we are disobeying Grandma...we start attending church religiously. Over time, we begin to search for God's will in our lives and then we "take off for Jesus"...and that's good. But later we learn that we should simply love God and treat people "right" simply because it's the RIGHT thing to do...if we never make it to heaven...loving God and treating people right is the "right thing" to do.
