   Episode 109: Bates Motel (1987)

Welcome back to the Bates Motel! In this episode, we dig into Bates Motel (1987), the made-for-TV backdoor pilot that tried to turn the scene of the crimes into a Scooby-Doo episode with extra ghosts that make zero sense. It is quite an odd vision of the Psycho-verse. Bud Cort plays Alex, who inherits the motel after befriending Norman Bates in a mental institution. Shockingly, this pilot did not get picked up, which is probably for the best... Trust us when we say...you just need to watch it! Or listen to us talk about it. And bring your chicken suit.

   Episode 108: Psycho 3 (1986)

Join us for the directorial debut of Anthony Perkins! Yep, Norman Bates oversaw Psycho 3 (1986). A retcon of a retcon, this movie leaves the viewer with a strange taste in his or her mouth. Are we digesting a tasty cracker topped with a spoonful of creamy peanut butter? Or are we eating a stale cracker covered in some strange mixture of peanut butter and taxidermy stuffing?

   Episode 107: Psycho 2 (1983)

Welcome back to the Bates Motel! In this episode, we take a look at the OG legacy sequel, Psycho 2 (1983). Released twenty-three years after the original, Norman Bates is released and heads home, only to find someone might be trying to bring Mother back. Anthony Perkins and Vera Miles return for a film that no one asked for, but one that turned out better than a homemade sandwich with milk. So grab a shovel and help us dig into why this movie is so much fun!
