Leader, what you do is not small.
The conversations. The preparation. The prayers. The moments you show up tired and wonder if anybody is listening. God can use every bit of it. Don’t measure the importance of your calling by the size of your audience.
In this episode of The Be.Love. Podcast, Scott Burks challenges leaders to take their calling seriously—and to pay attention to the life behind their leadership.
We’re talking about:
• Living a balanced life that makes room for your faith, family, health, and calling.
• Staying focused on what God has given you to do.
• Choosing your friends carefully and paying attention to who influences you.
• Doing the work of leadership, even when it’s difficult or nobody sees it.
• Building your life on TRUTH—the truth found in the Bible.
You have people to love, work to do, and a calling worth giving yourself to. Open your Bible. Guard your focus. Choose your circle carefully. Be faithful with what God has placed in your hands.
I’m also inviting you to be part of my new project, Crucial Kingdom. Hear the heart behind it in this episode and take a step toward living and leading with purpose.

Put on Love
Colossians 3:14 — “Above all these put on love.”
In this episode, we dive into what it really means to put on love as followers of Jesus. Love isn’t something we manufacture through effort — it’s something we receive in the presence of God, because God is love.
If you want to grow spiritually, lead well, parent with patience, strengthen your marriage, or build a healthy ministry, it starts here: spending intentional time alone with God.
This episode is a clear challenge to develop daily quiet time, deepen your personal relationship with Jesus, and allow the Holy Spirit to shape your heart so you can live out biblical love in everyday life.
When you know Love, you naturally put on love.
