#137 - Coming Home to Yourself: The Relationship That Changes Everything
In this final episode of the "Coming Home to Yourself" series!
What does it actually mean to come home to yourself?
It doesn’t mean you wake up one day completely healed, never people-please again, never question yourself, and suddenly make perfect decisions for the rest of your life. 😂
In this final episode of the Coming Home to Yourself series, I’m talking about what this work actually looks like in real life.
For me, coming home has been about building the kind of relationship with myself that I spent so much of my life trying to earn from everyone else.
A relationship where I know who I am.
Where I trust myself without needing to know every decision will work out.
Where my love for myself isn’t dependent on my weight, success, productivity, confidence, or whether other people approve of me.
And where, when I DO catch myself abandoning what I want, need, believe, or know to be true for me, I recognize it and know how to come back.
In this episode, we’re talking about what it means to know yourself, trust yourself, love yourself, and continue choosing yourself - especially when life gets uncomfortable.
I’m also bringing the entire series together through The BTCHYN Way™: Unravel → Upgrade → Uplevel, and sharing why this work was never about becoming some better version of yourself.
It’s about finally knowing the woman underneath everything you learned you had to be.
Because you didn’t lose yourself.
You learned to leave yourself.
And something you learned can be changed.
Know her. Trust her. Love her. Choose her.
Again and again and again.
And this time - don’t leave her. 💛
You don’t have to abandon yourself in order to belong.

#136 - What Happens to Your Relationships When You Start Choosing Yourself
What happens to your relationships when you stop automatically saying yes, changing your answer when someone is disappointed, keeping your opinions to yourself, or making yourself responsible for how everyone else feels?
Because choosing yourself sounds great…until you have to do it around the people you love. 😂
In Part Five of the Coming Home to Yourself series, I’m talking about what happens when YOU change how you participate in your relationships—and the people around you experience that change too.
We’re getting into the difference between caring about someone’s feelings and becoming responsible for them, why someone else’s discomfort doesn’t automatically mean you’ve done something wrong, and how to hear another person’s perspective without immediately abandoning your own.
Because self-trust doesn’t mean believing you’re always right. It means being able to listen, own your shit when you need to, repair when necessary, and still recognize when something simply doesn’t belong to you.
Some relationships will grow with you. Some will need time to adjust. Some may change completely. And some may become stronger because you’re finally allowing yourself to be fully known.
Coming home to yourself doesn’t mean going home alone.
You can love someone without disappearing inside the relationship.
You can hear them and still hear yourself.
And you can care deeply about their opinion without handing them authority over who you are. 💛
You don’t have to abandon yourself in order to belong.

#135 - When Who You Learned to Be Doesn’t Fit Anymore
What happens when you start unraveling from who you learned you had to be…and suddenly the woman you’ve been for years doesn’t fit anymore?
That in-between can feel confusing as hell.
You know you can’t go back to being who you were, but you’re still discovering the woman underneath the expectations, roles, beliefs, and ways you learned to make yourself acceptable to everyone else.
In Part Four of the Coming Home to Yourself series, we’re talking about why we often confuse familiarity with identity, why doing something differently can feel so wrong at first, and the grief that can come with outgrowing a version of yourself—even when you WANT to grow.
We’re also talking about one of the most important lessons I’ve learned in my own journey:
Unfamiliar and wrong are not the same thing.
You’re allowed to change your mind. You’re allowed to want different things. You’re allowed to discover parts of yourself you’ve never given yourself permission to explore before.
And honoring the woman you’ve been does not require you to keep being her.
This week, I want you to pay attention every time you hear yourself say, “That’s just not who I am.”
Then ask yourself:
Is it actually not who I am…or is it just not who I’ve allowed myself to be?
Because the hardest part of becoming more yourself isn’t always figuring out who you are.
Sometimes it’s having the courage to accept her when you finally meet her. 💛
You don’t have to abandon yourself in order to belong.
