Struggling with Sin Is Not the Same as Making Peace with It
Behind the question “Are we saved by grace or by works?” I often hear a different question:
How much can I sin and still be saved?
Those questions aren’t quite the same. Someone struggling with sin and afraid they’ve gone too far is in a very different place from someone looking for the maximum amount of sin they can get away with.
My honest response to the second question is: don’t test it!
Not because I think every failure means someone has lost their salvation. I don’t. But deliberately treating sin like a boundary to probe misses the point of grace—and assumes we’ll have time to learn where the boundary is.
Why take that risk?

How Do I Become A Christian?
In this episode, I explore a fundamental question: “How do I become a Christian?” I unpack the difference between simply identifying as a Christian and truly living as a disciple of Jesus—someone who puts His teachings into practice, even when obedience is difficult.
I examine why attending church, reading the Bible daily, or professing faith aren't enough on their own, and reflect on Jesus's warning about calling Him “Lord” without actually doing what He says. I also explore the connection between faith, obedience, and salvation, drawing on Jesus's powerful illustration of building our lives on rock rather than sand.
And for anyone who feels they've already built on the wrong foundation or watched their life fall apart, this episode offers a message of hope: it's not too late to start again and rebuild on the right foundation.

A Personal Journey with a Universal Question
In this episode I delve into the question of how Jesus is able to forgive sins that are committed against other people. Drawing on my personal reflections and passages from Mark, Acts, Matthew, Corinthians, Luke, John, and Proverbs, I discuss how Jesus so intimately identifies with His followers that any harm done to them is, in a real sense, harm done to Him. This profound unity and the fact that He is God are what give Jesus the authority to forgive these kinds of sins. I highlight that His forgiveness does not remove the responsibility for repentance, making amends, or seeking reconciliation, but I also remind you that whenever you sin against others, you are never acting in isolation — God is always present in those moments as well.
