Beat the Press Episode 22 - Gameweek 24 Premier League Round up

We are back after a month off, the lads have had somewhat of a long extended break. So now we are rolling out videos every 5 days so we can play catch up. Nottingham Forest stole the spotlight with a stunning 7-0 demolition of Brighton & Hove Albion. Chris Wood was the man of the hour, netting a remarkable hat-trick, while Anthony Elanga dazzled with three assists. This emphatic victory not only showcased Forest's attacking prowess but also marked their largest Premier League win since 1991. Over at the Emirates, Arsenal delivered a footballing masterclass, thrashing reigning champions Manchester City 5-1. Five different Gunners found the back of the net, underscoring their collective brilliance and signalling a serious title challenge. City, meanwhile, were left reeling, slipping to fourth in the table. Liverpool continued their relentless pursuit of glory with a 2-0 victory over AFC Bournemouth at the Vitality Stadium. Mohamed Salah was in scintillating form, scoring both goals and bringing his season tally to 21. This win extended the Reds' unbeaten away run to twelve matches, keeping them six points clear at the summit. At Molineux, Wolverhampton Wanderers secured a crucial 2-0 win against Aston Villa, lifting themselves out of the relegation zone. This result dealt a blow to Villa's European aspirations and highlighted Wolves' resilience in their fight for survival. Elsewhere, Everton continued their resurgence under David Moyes with a commanding 4-0 triumph over Leicester City, marking their third consecutive league win. Crystal Palace stunned Manchester United at Old Trafford, securing a 2-0 victory and deepening the Red Devils' home woes. Fulham showcased their mettle with a comeback 2-1 win against Newcastle United at St. James' Park, while Southampton notched only their second win of the season, edging out Ipswich Town 2-1. Tottenham Hotspur ended their winless streak with a 2-0 victory over Brentford, offering a glimmer of hope to their supporters. Capping off the gameweek, Chelsea rallied from a goal down to defeat West Ham United 2-1 at Stamford Bridge. An own goal by Aaron Wan-Bissaka and a late strike from Pedro Neto ensured the Blues' ascent into the top four, spoiling former manager Graham Potter's return. This gameweek will be remembered for its high-octane action and surprising outcomes, keeping fans on the edge of their seats as the Premier League narrative continues to unfold.
