Join us at The Public Figure Library. This is a different kind of library, but it is a library: a place where we come together to read, to learn, to share, to think, and to talk. And everything in this library revolves around one central subject: the public figure. Why the public Figure? Because we have all been pushed into a more public life. Have you ever tried living one day without your phone? Today, we cannot interact without some kind of digital interaction. We are connected to a global village of people, services, and products via social media and the internet. And with AI, our lives are upending even more. We are living through a revolution of change in how we work, communicate, create, and participate in public life. What does that mean? We believe more and more of us are being called into the role of the public figure. Not necessarily famous. Not necessarily an influencer. But increasingly visible, connected, searchable, and responsible for how we show up in public. What can you expect from the show? We will unpack what it means to be a public figure. And like a library, it will hold a bit of everything: ↳ old wisdom ↳ new ideas ↳ forgotten thinkers ↳ current tools It is a hodgepodge in service of one purpose: to help us understand how to live, work, and show up in a world where more of our lives are becoming public. We will have conversations with people from every walk of life: ↳ established public figures shaping industries, institutions, and conversations; ↳ emerging leaders finding their place in a changing world; and ↳ people figuring out what this new way of living and working means for them.
