[…] I do think the most challenging part of the transition was taking a lot of clearly there's a difference in pitching a name in an academic setting versus pitching a name when there's money on the line. I think that was probably the most challenging part of the transition. I'll echo what Noah said. I guess the transition from academic to being practical to understanding certain details of the real world which can be messier or less distinguished than in an academic paper and especially coming from a pure math background where things are very cut and dry in an investment world. You live in a kind of probabilistic universe like certain things can happen and it's very dynamic. […]
