BECOMING CATHOLIC is a podcast for anyone interested in learning what it's like (and what to expect) as a convert to the Catholic faith.
My name is Eliza Ceci. In 2019, Jesus Christ saved me from an unbiblical, secular, and new age life. After feeling like there was something missing in my evangelical walk, God gave me yet another grace I didn't deserve - He opened my eyes and heart to the Catholic faith.
Join me as I share my honest journey of what it's like to BECOME CATHOLIC - from how it all started all the way through to my confirmation in the Church (and beyond).
My intention for this project is that it's a bridge of understanding for those who know and love the Catholic faith and those who are curious, questioning, or somewhere in between. IF YOU LOVE THE LORD, I invite you to join me! Let's learn what its like to become Catholic together.

In this episode...
- who can receive ashes on ash wednesday?
- what ashes represent and why it's a biblical practice
- encouragement for those who feel not a part of the community before being fully confirmed
- what I've been doing that's been really effective as an evangelization technique (in a season where I haven't felt very helpful for God's kingdom)
- details about sacramentals and why you might want to participate in using them
I'll be praying for you this Lent. I hope your lenten devotions bring you ever closer to the Lord. Please use my email linked below if you have specific prayer requests. I'd be happy to pray for you personally
