A reflection on slowing down. This drop is an invitation to soften the urgency, quiet the mind’s stories, and listen beneath the noisy surface. When life slows us, the old narratives of “wrong,” “lazy,” or “you’re behind” often rise. And what if the slowdown is not a failure, but an alignment? Here we explore releasing shame, loosening control, and returning to play, trust, and availability to what is greater than us. This is a remembering that we are not meant to force our way forward, but to be receptive, allowing space for the next steps to emerge from presence, not pressure.

You will hear us speak often about hierarchy, as it is the architecture that was energetically created, and systems built upon, to separate humans. “Better than” and “less than” energy is rampant in our society, especially in western world. I recorded this after a community roundtable chat to guide us into understanding the subtle ways this energy has been leading us. To understand that we accepted this hierarchy energy within us as a way to protect ourselves. To let go of this energy we can recognize we have outgrown it and no longer need the protection.
