Bede & Steve Vs. Camp Crystal Lake Bonus Episode - Never Hike Alone 2 (2023)
Welcome to this bonus episode of Bede & Steve Vs. Camp Crystal Lake.
For this year of the podcast, your hosts Bede Jermyn & Steven T. Boltz spent two of 2026's three Friday 13th dates taking a look at Friday The 13th fan film franchise Never Hike Alone. After covering the first two installments Never Hike Alone (2017) on Friday February 13th and the prequel Never Hike Alone In The Snow (2020) Friday March 13th, Bede & Steve originally planned to do the third entry the next one F13 date in November. However, since the long awaited F13 TV series Crystal Lake was coming this month, your hosts decided it would be more fitting to make the Friday November 13th episode.
Instead of waiting for the next F13 date to come around in 2027 (which wouldn't be until August?!), Bede & Steve decided to push it up and release it on October 13th in honour of the Halloween season. For this episdoe, dive into the third and possible final entry in the Never Hike Alone fan franchise: the 2023 sequel Never Hike Alone 2, which was once again written & directed by Vincente DiSanti and features returning stars Thom Mathews & Vincent Guastaferro . What did Bede & Steve think of this third film in the Never Hike Alone series? Listen in and find out!

BSVCCL Presents: Bede & Steve Vs. Leatherface Episode 7 - Texas Chainsaw 3D (2013)... "Evil Wears Many Faces"
Welcome to episode 7 of Bede & Steve Vs. Leatherface, where your hosts Bede Jermyn & Steven T. Boltz explore the films of The Texas Chainsaw Massacre franchise.
After Platinum Dunes released the 2006 prequel The Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning, they decided not to produce any more films in the franchise. However, Twisted Pictures (the production company behind the Saw series) picked up the rights and went to work making a new entry with the help of studio Millennium Media. The resulting film was a shot in 3D entry that's a direct sequel to the original 1974 classic: the 2013 film Texas Chainsaw 3D, which was directed by John Luessenhop (Takers) and co-written by Adam Marcus (director of Jason Goes To Hell: The Final Friday).
Joining your hosts Bede & Steve to discuss this reboot of the series are first-time guests John Seavey (host of Half Price Horror (https://anchor.fm/half-price-horror)) and filmmaker Addison Heath (co-director of the films The Viper's Hex, An American Masquerade, My Cherry Pie). Higlights include John and Addison talking about the first The Texas Chainsaw Massacre they saw, is Texas Chainsaw 3D really as its reputation suggests?, why the timeline doesnt make any sense, what everyone thought of the prolouge?, the weird character choices, how the TCM3D is a Halloween film, the film's most infamous line and so much more.
Also, during the latter half of the episode, Bede & Steve provided something really special for you. A few months ago on their other podcast Bede & Steve Vs. Camp Crystal Lake, they interviewed filmmaker Adam Marcus. During that interview, they asked Adam about his time working on Texas Chainsaw 3D. That discussion was saved for this episode for you all to listen to. Believe me, it's pretty wild.

Bede & Steve Vs. Camp Crystal Lake Bonus Episode - We Pay Tribute To Victor Miller (1940-2026)
Welcome to this bonus episode of Bede & Steve Vs. Camp Crystal Lake.
There are many people throughout the history of Friday The 13th who have helped to make the series a popular staple of both horror and pop culture. However, there's no question that the franchise wouldn't be what it is today if it wasn't for the man who created it: Victor Miller, who wrote the script for the very first entry back in 1980. He was somone that your hosts Bede Jermyn & Steven T. Boltz greatly admired, so they both sadden to hear that Victor Miller had just passed away at the age of 86.
Since he was such imporant figure for Friday The 13th, Bede & Steve decided to get together and pay tribute to him with this bonus episode. Despite the more sombre tone, your hosts wanted to celebrate the life and accomplishments of Victor Miller. Not only that, even Steve shares a personal story that's connected to man himself. While he will be missed all of us F13 fans, his legacy will never be forgotten. Rest in peace, Victor Miller. Rest in peace.
