[…] There's this big anti-AI jihad, and it's having effectively no impact on this new generation of younger writers who are using AI to help them write more books faster. And these newer, younger writers who are using AI are gobbling up in some genres as much as 20%, 30%, 40% of the market share already. And whining isn't a strategy. You have to compete. And just like those typewriter authors, some of them continued writing on typewriters for the rest of their careers. Some of them switched to word processors. And I think both of those strategies are valid, but you have to realize if you're writing with a typewriter, there is an expectation that your spelling is better than it was before because all the word processor people have a spell check built in.
